Yeah, I had the name changed, since this FC is no longer about the Hyuga alone, it's also about the Ootsutsuki.

Hyuga should some how be in the title still, maybe call it :Byakugan FC: HYUGA/Otutsuki?! Complete Alien Invasion!but I get your point.
Speaking of New Age the Hyuga clan itself needs a introduction.
I don't just mean seeing more Hanabi, Hiashi, and Hinata doing Hyuga things like what we saw in those two episodes... I MEAN a HYUGA BLOW OUT!
So Hanabi is now the head of the clan and seeing as the modern era of Boruto is edgy and hip I think the Hyuga need a make over too.
So due to Neji, the branch system was abolished as well as the curse seal. Also due to Hinata marrying a non Hyuga and giving birth to Boruto and Himawari the Hyuga clan has become more lax in it overall sterness.
Of course not too lax they still follow the head of the clan and focus on the GF and byakugan but what if the new kids of the clan try to innovate due to having Hanabi as the head and Boruto being also a influence when he went from time to time there using his shadow clones in training sessions.
So an bare boned example is how Inojin's ink art is colourful compared to his father's more traditional one.
What if while also learning regular Hyuga training like the GF and byakugan they also decided to make their own GF based moves to suit their styles (due to being the new age of kids).
Some may just tweak their fighting like how Hanabi does in storm 4.
Others might just go all out and make new GF moves like what we saw with Hinata in those SP filler episodes in part 1.
I want to also particularly see at least two other Hyuga kids that are the same range in age with Hima and Boruto.
Think about it. One can be the cool kid like Neji (maybe even looks up to him and trains really hard, considered a genius for the Hyuga) and the other could be also a prodigy that Boruto knows that might use some crazy new GF idea.
What ideas. Well let us just explore one.
So the byakugan can have a large range and can also see through things and zoom in, etc...
When a Hyuga does the vacuum palm they first lock on to their target so the vacuum palm never misses. (Hits their target before their target even notices).
Well what if you add to that, what if you use the Hyuga chakra control to make a chakra based bow and arrow that can do round like the vacuum palm but more lethal and with a longer range?
That would also be amusing since it would be a nod to Neji vs Kidomaru.
So these two kids, a boy and a girl could both know Boruto and Himawari and maybe grew up with them.
So a relative to this dude.
Now we just need a reason to introduce them, or re-introduce them since Boruto already knows them. (lol fanfiction)
Boruto's eye isn't awakening anymore and he started thinking about manually learning how to do it. This could be post Boruto the movie were he got the Ootsutki seal). Sasuke likely encourages him and Mitsuki also agrees. Team 7 is currently on a week off due to Konohamaru doing a major mission or something. (We saw this in part 1 were genin teams had days off).
Due to his battle with the Nue, Bortuo is again encouraged to believe his eye is related to the byakugan due to being able to see the chakra points (that his mother told him about in the early episodes).
From that he wants to go to Hanabi to train how to unlock his eye via the heavy duty byakugan training but Hanabi is busy starting up a Hyuga training camp with Genin level Hyuga kids.
This camp could be located far from Konoha in some private Hyuga Forrest/Lake area.
At first he was hesitant but due to wanting to please his Sensei and to learn what Momo meant about his eyes he asks Hanabi to enroll even though he doesn't know how to unlock his byakugan.
She allows it but this is when the camp becomes interesting, she also allows Mitsuki to attend and due to a request Metal Lee's team as well.
She then changes the camp into a tournament, due to Boruto and the Neji "cool boy" kid challenging each other on who is better.
Toss in Himawari with the ability to now know how to unlock her byakugan on her own and Mitsuki being overly interested in the whole entire affair and we got some team based tournament with two major teams out of many.
Team 1:
Boruto
Arrow/Chakra Girl (who likes to troll/tease Boruto due to her family always being a aide for the Hiashi family)
Metal Lee (due to Hanabi not wanting Boruto and Mitsuki being on the same team for balance).
Team 2:
Neji Cool Boy (will fight off against Lee and Gates... FINALLY a Neji, LEE rivalry REBORN)
Himawari since she knows what she is doing (PRODIGY)
Mitsuki (who is surprisingly excited with the whole ideal)
And this thing is like a mix between the Chunin Exams battle stage (in that indoor arena before the stadium arena) and the Chunin exams forrest of death. Since the Boruto movie Chunin exams was more timid and lukewarm then the Naruto part 1 Chunin exams.
This isn't a fight to the death or anything serious. More like getting a scroll from the opposite team like the Heaven/Earth scroll idea in Part 1.
What makes this arc amazing is that this would be the DEBUT of Mitsuki using his eyes to confirm they are a Ootustki byakugan.
Lol just imagine.

Entire arc with around 10 - 15 episodes about Hyuga would be great. It can be about their origin, history or something related to current time line events. I like your idea about that camp.
Sadly I doubt they will ever focus on Hyugas this much.
I hope Boruto will actually go to Hanabi for help considering his eye is awaken.

and even better my two made up Hyuga characters would be a great addition to the roster and make the Hyuga clan feel as if they actually exist outside of just inner family
we could also get a Neji vs Lee like fight that we didn't get in part 1

I always liked taijutsu fight more than others . Thats why I like Hyuga clan the most , and why Might Gai is also one of my favorite characters.
Its a shame we never saw Neji vs Lee all out fight, or something similar .

and also having new Hyuga tech like that chakra bow and arrow stuff I mentioned were you basically can snipe with your byakugan is great and adds to the whole assasin/ninja thing
I mean the Hyuga is currently Konoha's strongest, biggest and wealthiest clan so they need to basically be shown having a massive event like this made up arc I mentioned.
Plus a Hyuga girl that is close to Boruto would also save us from Sarada is Sumire does never return.

It would be nice if Boruto goes under the hyuga camp but his master is Sasuke and he probably knows something about Boruto power after witnessing Momoshiki time freeze. However Hanabi did simply told boruto to come back whenever something troubles him but for now I guess the manga trying to explore Boruto curse seal before we get the real meat of the story especially in due time when Himawari gets older, she will also play important role due to the byakugan plot.
Funny enough, they intentionally nerfed Boruto by making his PsuedoByakugan dormant simply because they want to fully showcase Boruto diverse skills and elemental jutsu without the reliance of the Hyuga properties. It sound to me like they want to show all of his elemental ninjutsu so once he awaken his special eye, his ninjutsu and combat skills will probably come with the full effects of jyuuken much like Kaguya where he can unlocked his untapped potential.

I am saying if they made a Hyuga training camp arc akin to a Boruto esque version of the Forrest of death but at a lighter tone and with more all out team based fighting then it would be one of the best arcs for the anime lol
and I just want two new Hyuga characters so that the Boruto anime would have at least 4 Hyuga kids overall
maybe from that Boruto learns how to get comfortable with his own GF style.
