Doubt it is jyuken because no byakugan. Just open palm. I doubt he will get jyuken techs until at least part 2 because asault bolt has no byakugan. So if he is gona get byakugan only then will he use jyukwn.

Unless his weird eye also allows for him to use jyuken

You have to remember his special eye does have connection with the hyuga bloodline so even then his dojutsu probably have special vision exclusive to his jyuuken. I still believe his dojutsu has some ability trait of the Byakugan

Nah. I only did it to Lyke because his betrayal annoyed me a little and he was bashing Sarada.

And I did it to minamoto because he was starting to annoy me with all the Sarada bashing in every thread he steps his foot into.

Remember in The Last when Toneri infused himself with many Byakugans? At that point, the Byakugans starting absorbing energy from the sun, nearly causing Toneri to die due to being unable to handle all that power.

My question is, what does this mean for the Byakugan?

We know the Hyuga have always had a sun motif with Hinata, Hizashi, Hiashi, Himawari's names and the Hyuga name itself all having some relation to the sun in their meanings.

Now we also have Bolt being referred to as Mitsuki's "Sun" and his eye being called the "Star of Hope" as well. What if this means the Byakugan gets its power/energy from stars?

If this series really does go down the planet hopping/dimension travelling route, which I am so hoping it does, this could mean that Byakugan users are far more powerful in space than on planets since they have more exposure to the sun light since that is what fuels them.

Well Boruto eyes is the manifestation of the byakugan which have something to do with the ability to interact other dimensions.

Remember Hizashi incident where he can ripple the vortex because of his byakugan even though its filler this could tie in to the main canon story.

I honestly believe that Boruto also has the standard byakugan for both eyes but is suppressed from using it and other hyuga tech due to his mutated eye from taking full control

once he learns how to use his eye or maybe via training on his new eye he might learn how to unlock regular byakugan

Yah, his eye will likely grant him powes akin to that of Sasuke so he can dimension jump.

That's the problem with the fandom. When there are no screen time dedicated to Hinata fighting in P3 and the next thing happen is when Hanabi displayed her feats and wrecked Boruto with ease ( which is supposed remind people that he's an academy student) ; people jumped to the conclusion by downplay her character by assuming she's "featless" and doesn't stick with the facts. People these days are not open minded

Hinata didn't get a lot of feats but the feats she did get are completely ignored or people don't just notice. One example is Pain's assault.

Those mean Hinata crossed an extremely large distance in the time it took Pain to insert 6 more rods in Naruto and ST that Ma toad...which tbh shouldn't have taken a lot of time. And if that isn't quantifiable..we can see all the way to the edge of the inner crater

That crater housed a battle that included throwing a giant rhino, throwing Bunta, a flying bird ...all in all like 6 different monsters iirc and they all had space to do their stuff. That crater won't at the very least be lesser than a km imo...

And yet i read comments like "sHe hAS no sPEed fEAts"..

I dunno why but I felt disappointed in this episode. I was expecting to see the hyuga centric of the entire episode to learn more about boruto eye but instead the second half portion of the episode reverted back to another typical shadow chakra wind in the mill. Anyway I am so glad we finally get to see Hanabi again and god damn the fight was so good, Boruto easily able to quickly adapt her fighting style. It was nice with beautifully animated.


Just like how fluidity the fight with Hanabi vs Hinata were.

I also felt disappointed but mostly because i felt disturbed by the fact it's seeming Boruto's eye isn't a byakugan which could yet again shift focus from the dojutsu...But the members here have ignited a little bit of hope again so hopefully we all get what we want (hyuga related) from part 3.
