Re: Strongest of the Hidden Leaf: The Hyuga Clan FC

Wait, seriously?

Damn, that fruit must have ****ed up their brains big time.
Yeah, it was mentioned in the thread about the Hyuugas being Hagoromo's children.

Apparently Hamura made some gamble with Hagoromo. That if humanity was still misusing chakra in a thousand years, his descendants would destroy earth. Hamura is a dìck just like his brother. Still can't believe he just gave Naruto and Sasuke seals that would kill over millions of people.

Speaking of the fruit. Remember how it was said that another fruit was going to grow? Seems like Kishi forgot about that as well.Lol

Re: Strongest of the Hidden Leaf: The Hyuga Clan FC

If Hinata looked clearly neji was an admirable person too at least more than naruto. Neji was from the side branch but despite that he mastered the main branche's technique. He did it with hard work unlike naruto who took shortcuts saying everyone else that hard work can change everything.
Except the part where he grew up hating her. That's the difference.

Naruto pulled pranks and laughed it off to try and gain attention.

Neji tuneled his anger on the main branch. Though even then she seemed to have some level of care for him.

I recall Naruto mentioning she also fought for his recognition. Not to mention she was able to understand he was suffering from the branching family.

I think it boils down to Hinata being able to relate more to Naruto. It wasn't like everyone hated Neji. In fact he was a praised genius. Where Naruto, like her, wasn't truly successful and also felt abandoned by those around them.

Re: Strongest of the Hidden Leaf: The Hyuga Clan FC

You guys can now loosen up, Hyuga being descendant of Hagaromo was all mistranslated. The Hyuga lineage was inheirted from Hamura and of course Kaguya, the progenitor of all things. Here is what it said according to the databook.

Konoha's Hundred Leafs #50

Heading: Remaining in various places. Remnants of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki.

← The forehead markings and the ability to use "bones" as weapons. What is the relationship of the Kaguya Clan and Kaguya...!?

→ Praised as Konoha's strongest, the Hyūga. The ancient tradition of the Byakugan has been passed on until now.

The blood lineage of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, who ate the fruit of the God Tree. That is the root that is attached to the faint breath that spreads throughout the current Ninja world. The representative is the "Byakugan", carried by Kaguya. This is what the Hyūga Clan has been passing on until now, inheriting both the Gentle Fist and seeing all Chakra tenketsu. Also, even in Ninja from destroyed Clans, remnants of blood
can apparently be seen.

↑ Kaguya, who became the progenitor of Chakra. The power that once ruled the world is now.

Different translator:

Konoha's Hundred Leafs #50

Heading: TBA

← Those forehead marks and being a bone users, is there a connection between Kimimaro's Clan and Kaguya!?

→ The Hyūga praised as Konoha's strongest. The Byakugan traditions from 1,000 years ago are now passed down in present times.

The blood relatives of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki who ate God Tree's fruit. In the current Ninja world a faint breath from the source (root) spreads. (?This might not be right). Represented by Kaguya's Byakugan. Both the Hyūga Clan's ability to see every Chakra tenketsu and Gentle Fist, were inherited in the present time from this legend. Also, even in Ninja from destroyed clans, remnants of blood can apparently be seen.

↑ Kaguya is the progenitor of Chakra. This world dominating power reappeared in the present times.

Page 18: Movie Databook

Heading: From the progenitor of Chakra, Kaguya, to modern day Shinobi. A blood lineage spanning more than a millennium will be unraveled here.

Bloodline: A Clan divided between the Earth and the moon.

The Ōtsutsuki Clan arrived on the Earth in search of the Divine Tree's fruit. Kaguya ate the fruit and obtained Chakra, then instantly quelled the turbulent times. After her defeat, Kaguya left behind twins: younger brother Hamura led the Clan to the moon while Hagoromo remained on the Earth to try and spread the teachings of Ninshu.

↑ Hagoromo remained on the Earth while Hamura took leadership of the Ōtsutsuki and traveled to the moon.

↑ Hagoromo's sons. The dispute over which brother would inherit Ninshu gave rise to an interminable cycle of conflict.

Byakugan: The Kekkei Genkai passed down through the Hyūga Clan.

From Kaguya to Hamura, and so on. After passing through a great many generations, the Hyūga Clan became the sole inheritors of Kaguya's Byakugan. Since its founding, the Hyūga's leadership has been dedicated to preserving this Kekkei Genkai, which has allowed them to thrive.

↓ The Hyūga's Byakugan. The clan leader's Byakugan in particular has a high transplant compatibility with Hamura's descendants.

Re: Strongest of the Hidden Leaf: The Hyuga Clan FC

The only different thing was the anger issue. Naruto didn't get hurt by the damn seal when he was like 9-10 I would have been the same tbh. Also naruro didn't do anything on his own. He took all shortcuts. Neji suffered more than naruto.

NP, and yeah fortunately we have never seen Hamura characterization , or any amount of screen time that would display his technique or learn nothing about his backstory.

Re: Strongest of the Hidden Leaf: The Hyuga Clan FC

I hope we get to see him some where. The manga ended and now kishi remembered oh I should give time to the hyuga clan too. Kaguya was a dissapointment but I am sure hamura (hamaru for me) would have been cool. He reminds me of Neji. There should be movie on him and Neji.

Hinata Hyuuga

The Sunflower Who Hid Love and Admiration for Naruto in Her Heart, and Bloomed Beautifully
Hinata was born as the eldest daughter of the Hyuuga clan’s main house. Having struggled since childhood with the pressure of being “the next leader of a noble clan,” as well as with her own withdrawn nature, she admired Naruto’s “strength,” and decided to adhere to his nindou. Now, having matured as a shinobi and as a woman, Hinata’s feelings for Naruto cause her to shake…

Before:
Caption of panel of near-beaten Hinata from chuunin exams: I never go back on my word. Hinata resolves to adhere to the same nindou as Naruto…!!
Caption of panel where Hinata uses hakke kuushou against the Juubi: She uses her juuken palm to release air pressure. This is taijutsu handed down by the Hyuuga clan.
Caption of panel where Hinata uses hakke rokujuuyon shou: The secret juuken technique “hakke rokujuuyon shou.” She masters it with the courage to step out beyond her limits.

“Byakugan”
The rare “kekkei genkai” inherited only by the Hyuuga clan. It boasts a 360-degree range of vision and the ability to see clearly for hundreds of meters, and is able to see through opponents’ chakra networks.
Caption for sketch of Hinata with activated byakugan: When her byakugan is activated, Hinata’s facial expression becomes sharper.
Before:
Hinata shows her byakugan in her death match with Neji.

Feelings Towards Naruto
Since her days at the academy, Hinata has been attracted to the “strength” that Naruto possesses. That admiration eventually changed into the desire to be by Naruto’s side, and also became the source of Hinata’s growing confidence.
Before:
Caption for panel from chapter 98: He unintentionally leaves her dazed with his impulsive “I like you.”
Before:
Caption for panel from 615: During the ninja war, Hinata grew into someone who could support Naruto in a predicament and stand as his equal.

Art of Hinata
Wedding clothes
Caption at lower right: Headdress. Her hair is rolled up in a turban-like structure.
Middle caption: An Ootsutsuki wedding dress, complete with a veil on her head.
Left caption: Hinata wears a skirt while not on a mission.

Re: Strongest of the Hidden Leaf: The Hyuga Clan FC

the entire Ootsutsuki clan are beyond stupid, what a mess...

Kaguya was a bat-shit-cray perv
Hagoromo was also crazy and a liar
Hamura was obviously crazy and a moron

Uchiha and Hyuuga have clear tendencies to turn crazy and do nasty stuff like killing, torturing and enslaving their own siblings...

seriously Hinata is an exception, this girl is freaking sane and nice compared to all of them Lol

how is it possible that neither Hamura or even Toneri never noticed that the Hyuuga had the byakugan on Earth?
because it would have been a good thing to kidnap a bunch of them or all the clan, enslave them and force them to reproduce for their eyes instead of sacrificing their own people right?

this family is ridiculous XD

It wasn't a mistranslation.

1)Passing through is basically the same as skipping.
2) TakL a japanese guy on Naruto forums who has the databook was the one that said that. I talk to him and he says that they are not his descendants.
3) That translation still have being "Hyuuga" and being a "Hamura descendant" as two separate things. Look at the what the last line says.

"↓ The Hyūga's Byakugan. The clan leader's Byakugan in particular has a high transplant compatibility with Hamura's descendants."

Them being related to Hagoromo was a theory not a translation. Because who else are they descendants of?
