Only major shine time is during a technically non cannon movie, and ends up delivering a stronger power up to her sister...

Classic. Between that and the war of pairing attrition it's almost possible to begin wondering if Kishi just loves drawing hate to characters.

They most likely did.

Sasuke I recall it being noted he did.

Neji I believe most likely did as well, putting his natural talent or blood or whatever with work to learn main branch techs.

We only saw Gedo Mazo Zetsu. God Tree Zetsu might be stronger. This would also mean that Kaguya wasn't a complete villain and her son is a dìck just like his brother.

That's possible, though that doesn't change the fact that she wanted to kill everyone . This needs to be explained better

If Hinata looked clearly neji was an admirable person too at least more than naruto. Neji was from the side branch but despite that he mastered the main branche's technique. He did it with hard work unlike naruto who took shortcuts saying everyone else that hard work can change everything.

I don't know about mindless since Zetsu have shown to have personalities. Through it's still pretty fûcked up that they wouldn't remember who they were.

Wonder what she was planning on doing with them after they got the job done.

Zetsu's are all the ootsutsuki clan members. Hyuga clan betrayed ootsutstki The byakugan was originally ootsutsukis. I mean kaguya splitted the clan for power that's why toonari wants to take their power back. But lucky toonari was and survived.
