Re: Strongest of the Hidden Leaf: The Hyuga Clan FC

I've always felt like Kishi kept Hinata weak in part 2 to make Neji seem like a "genius". I'm sure by now, You've all read my rants about why Neji's character failed miserably in part 2, so I won't repeat that. But it seems like, because Neji was neglected by Kishi, he began to fall behind in power level as opposed to the other geniuses, Sasuke & Gaara, so rather than giving Neji some legit power boosts, he makes Hinata seem weaker than Part 1 Neji, and because Hinata is the only Hyuga character aside from neji, we compare the two, and it makes it seem like Neji is actually something special.

So I basically think Kishi simply kept Hinata weak to make Neji seems strong, and I feel like that's kinda a cheap thing to do.

I hope this makes sense....

Hahaha calm and collected can be interesting if they have a well developed character.. and the moments they end up out of character makes it fantastic... Sadly this mostly ends up as a side character that is basically useless.but yes...more green hair FTW!
Yeah but sometimes he need to act goofy you know, like hashirama ;)

Re: Strongest of the Hidden Leaf: The Hyuga Clan FC

Underrated clans at the too (although I'd say Hyuga and Uzumaki best the Kaguya but that's just me :snick:)

Honestly, an all out brawl between the hyuga and kaguya clans would unreal. Bones vs. Gentlefist! I swear expanding the Hyuga's movesets wouldn't be difficult for Kishi. Twin Lions already made a few possibility like areal palm attacks and precision 32 and 64 palm attacks from a distance.

It'd be massively OP but I'd love to see it :nosebleed:
Not sure if you know this, but barely any Kaguyas have the bone thingie Kekkai genkai, it's kinda like the Sharingan.

I think it would be easy to give Hyugas some new powers.

Just me day dreaming....

Being able to use the gentle fist from a farther distance would be very helpful, especially with faster characters.

The link in his Sig.

On a side note: I love Hinata, she's an awesome character but I didn't like that really heavy make-up she wore as a little kid.

Oh i see thanks!:bouncy:

Kishi decided that the Uchihas were going to be the main plot sometime after the hidan and kakuzu arc and because of that everybody including the main character took a huge backseat to them.

You're not wrong about him keeping Hinata weak on purpose. He never wanted to develop her in part 1, and instead opted to keep her elevated in part 2 with the limited panel time she has received. I have to say this girl is astonishing. For a support character she has done more than enough to move certain plot points further. Easily the most "efficient" character in the series if you look at it from a paneltime over development standpoint.

Very impressive to say the least. One can only hope so6p re-energizes certain aspects of the series.

It's on a flashback, i think in the pain arc
That was filler.... any that wasn't makeup anyways, just some major blush...

I've honestly gotten tired of the whole Uchiha thing. I mean, yeah, I get it that they're main characters, but why ditch all the other characters you made? I feel like it would have been really easy fro him to give the Hyuga even a LITTLe bit of development. Neji was rivals with Naruto, Sasuke, & Gaara, in power yet he's the only one among them who hasn't had any major development in part 2 nor any decent power ups, all he got was air palm and bigger kaiten....oh yeah, and longer range, if that counts. honestly, A zetsu Neji did more for the plot than Neji in part 2.

Oh well... the best I can do now is just wait for that mentioned Hyuga development and hope for the best.

I really want the Hyuga to shine :T_T:

Thought those were her rosy cheeks XD!

OH AND YES calm and collected do need to freak out at times... Best done by introducing an old friend or rival who's a total badass. The fear they inflict is bad.

Like Gray and Natsu when Ezra is around.

Anyhow I agree Cosman...the amount of moves I've considered using Twin Lion Fist alone is ridiculous.

That's why Kishimoto has to kill all the remain uchihas so we could get some development for the hyugas side ;)

Obito and sasuke has to go.

The only explanation is Kishimoto actually fell in love with this clan. Quite scary and creepy.

The Hyuga have to shine in the sage's flashback. Kishi has alluded to expanding them a few times in his interviews and this is the only way it seems possible. It's gonna happen. I can feel it :)

Obito is more likely than not gonna die... if he lives (through naruto forgiving him or something) would be ridiculous, due to the fact that he's killed so many damn people (Kushina, Hiruzen's wife, Minato, Neji)

Maybe Sasuke can get his Sharingan eyes sealed away by the Hyuga? Perhaps, they can come up with a variation of the caged bird seal, that, rather than sealing away the eyes at death, it happens instantly, which would rid Sasuke of his Sharingan, and in turn, the hatred that is born from it, since sharingan feeds onhate. Honestly, Sasuke losing his sharingan may suck for the Sasuke fanboys, but it's honestly the only way I can see him truly getting over his hate, especially with the theory of the Sharingan stemming from the root of all evil, the Juubi.

Yeah, I don't get why he'd fall in love with a clan like that anyways.... Though I'd say he fell in love with Sasuke rather than the clan itself.... the Uchiha getting so much panel time is because of that.

It just bothers me. I mean, the Uchiha have more development and backstory than the Hyuga & Uzumaki, and this is probably because these two will have their pasts told by the sage, since they may have something to do with his life. But what about the Senju, the Uchihas (superior) rival? They don't have development either! Kishimoto seriously should have spent at least 3-4 chapters during Hashi's story time to somewhat develop the other Konoha clans too.

That would be a good idea, he will not use his sharingan for evil purposes no more and he will live and naruto will be happy *_*
