I doubt the kid's a Hyuga, because if Kishi wanted a Hyuga kid character, he would have given the Byakugan to Bolt or Hima. But anything can happen I guess. I just doubt the kid's got anything to do with the Hyuga.

No, theres a possiblity that he's a hyuga kid because Bolt and Himawari are more derived from Naruto than Hinata. Look at Bolt for example , he looks completely identical to Naruto heck even Himawari especially the fact that they don't have Byakugan gives me the doubt that they are Hyuga considering ( Kishi forgot). From the way I see it, Bolt and Himawari have Uzumaki dominated genes.
If Kishi wanted, he could've justify the Hyuga by making the main character the Hyuga but he didn't because as usual, Kishi likes to shit on the Hyuga so he had to resort the Hyuga being the side character again. Well that's my assumption.
From the look of it, I think he is related to Toneri if you follow by the quote below, it said : "Many things have been shrouded in mystery, the mysterious presence, The eyes of Zhou, the little cool boy."
We know that Oosutski is still mysterious clan because Kishi still havn't tied up this loose ending during the Kaguya arc even Naruto the Last Movie.

From the sound of it Zhou might be related to the Taoism and if that is the case then it's might heavily influence on the Hyuga since they are based on that concept.

If you look at the color scan closely, it looks like Mitsuki eye color have lavender color and it also the scan clearly stated in a quote "The eyes of Zhou" . In other word it might be confirm to be the Byakugan.

From the look of it, Mitsuki might be either wearing the Hyuga/Ootsutski outfit and that is a possiblity though

Reason why it made me lead to believe this third team member is either Ootsuski or Hyuga is because Both bolt and Himawari don't seem to have a Hyuga genes, from the look of it, they look like they have ONLY inherited from Naruto with all these whiskers considering ( Kishi forgot) to give them the Byakugan, Kishi said he might give third child but it's too difficult.
I think Kishi is looking for a replacement, so he decide to make Mitsuki to be a hyuga and be one of the main cast instead.
Unlike Sarada who have both Haruno/Uchiha symbol encrypt in her outfit, Bolt only have Uzumaki logo on his outfit.
Nice. I really hope he is a hyuga. It wound be interesting to see hyuga+uzumaki+uchiha combination. And we get to know more about hugas as a hyuga with byakugan unlike bolt will be in the main team. But if Mitsuki is ootsutsukie clan then I wonder if his parent's will be shown. I mean they live on moon right? Also wasn't Toonari the last member?
Yeah. We never knew about most of character's parents. Kishi even forgot to draw Hinata's mom in her wedding. You should look at Hyuga prodigy's post here and their theory. It is interesting.
