As the clone was created and began to rush towards me, I simply maintained my stance as I looked directly at the clone, attempting to analyze his physical movements. As he is about to enter striking distance, I rise my right foot, transferring all my weight towards my back as I lean a little. In that same motion, I maintain my sword steadily in front of me as I naturally transfer my weight back towards my right foot, placing it in front of me once more. As I transfer my weight, I would also increase the force of my strike as I push down on my blade and deliver and downwards vertical slash. This was only but a test, easily defended against by the clone as he placed his blade out in front of him horizontally to block the strike. As both blades connected, I stepped back and placed my feet closely together, paralleled with my shoulders. As I did so, I drew my sword backwards as well, keeping it out in front of me, having the tip of the blade pointing towards the clone. In a sudden burst of speed, I then rotate my hips counter-clockwise whilst tilting my blade to the right hand side. In that same fluid motion, I aim to deliver a horizontal strike coming from right to left. (Clone's left - right). The slash is aimed to cut into the clone's left rib-cage area should it not be defended. Much to my surprise, the clone flipped the sword counterclockwise and held it on a reverse grip alongside his left-hand side utilizing both hands on the handle of the sword for stronger grip and manipulation. He effortlessly defends against my horizontal slash as both blades connect once more.
"Tsk.. It was to be expected.."
I mumbled slightly, although quite excited. Upon physical confrontation, I began to analyze the situation at hand. Knowing fully well that my opponent was on par with my speed and strength, something more strategic had to be done. Utilizing the clone's absurd stance as he held his sword in reverse grip with both hands, I simply retracted my blade an inch backwards, thereafter forcefully pushing it forward. However, I would not only push it against the other blade, I would aim to slide against it, swiftly going downwards nearing the end of the clone's blade. Nearing the end of the clone's blade, I tweak my wrists, thereafter delivering a low, horizontal slash aimed at the shins of the opponent. The rather uncomfortable stance the clone was in would surely aid in the success of my strike.
*Pant, pant* That was a good one. I tried my best but your clone was simply too strong and easily kept up with my speed. Judging from the technique I just performed. One of the advantages I see is that I am free to manipulate the usage of this technique, which ever way I want. By that I mean, utilizing it to perform vertical or horizontal strikes from any angle, and to slice any body part/object. The last strike seems to be fueled by either chakra or the user's will to finish of his opponent, allowing the user to deal a stronger finishing blow. One of the drawbacks I see in this technique is that it's a combination-type. This means that in our current RP, it can easily be interrupted after the first slash, this in turn would disable the possibility to deal the last strong blow.
Combinations.. combinations... well Sensei, aside from what I've just done to your clone.. I believe I would maybe combine it with the wind-enhancing technique. This would allow me to increase the range of the blade as well as it's lethality. This would surely remove one of the drawbacks I stated, allowing me to defend against potentially released techniques should they attempt to interrupt or defend against my move.
