okay there are certain ways to break from from a genjutsu.

1) have a teamate insert thier chakra into your body, which will stop the enemy's flow of chakra through your nervous system.

2) Genjutsu: Kai (Illusion Technique: Release)

3) physical pain. shikamaru showed this technique when he was caught by tuyuya. He broke his finger to release himself from genjutsu. the pain sends an intense message to the brain, which can overtake certain genjutsu. (Will not work on upper level sharingan genjutsu)

oh and a few points to know before we continue. for most genjutsu, seals are required, except for sharingan ( but that is not the case for us =/ for now anyways)

also, its best if the target is short to mid ranged and direct line of sight is generally required (you have to know where the person is)

u just do what i tell you to do, and basically attempt to do what it says in the description in ur description of ur attempt.

Instead of your simple no effort attempt aka this:

You should try for something way more specific, detailed, and full of effort, like so:

I form the handseals slowly, focusing my chakra into the area around us whilst doing so. I then get to the last handseal, and the genjutsu is implemented. The genjutsu makes the area around us transform from into an open plain into a cold and barren tundra.

Now don't c & p my example either. I'll know if you do. It's just something that i expect. Effort and detail. Not laziness and simplicity. Now, in all seriousness, REALLY ATTEMPT THE GENJUTSU THIS TIME.

I first, did the handseals slow while focusing chakra into the area me and akiza are. Then i finish with the handseals and the are change from what me and akiza was. So now we are in a forest with a ocean in the right and a lot of animals in the left.

After forming the needed hand seals, the user's body will disperse into a shower of flower petals. These petals will confuse and distract her opponent while the user escapes or hides.
