now on to part two of the introduction of genjutsu. Escaping O_O in order to fully understand genjutsu you need to know what it feels like to be in it. you have to know that you are in it and know what to do next.

but that first one is partially right
1: Using Kai to release it but for that to be possible you must have your hands free to do the handseals
2: Causing pain to yourself to make you snap out of it and come back to your senses.
3: Having someone (a clone, partner, tailed beast within you, etc.) 'add' chakra to your body, disrupting the enemy's flow of chakra within you, making you become aware that a genjutsu was going on,
and now get out of my gen so we can continue xd

*focusing on the clone in my line of sight i alter the clone itself and change it from female to male, the clone then instinctively feels around its groinal region to find out what the new "appendage" is, and while that is happening i throw a exploding kunai at it* *boom poof*

*drops to the ground to avoid the kunai and coughs up kusanagi which floats around to cut my ropes then i focus my chakra creating the illusion that my body is dispersed into a shower of flower petals as i then run and hide behind a tree*

Kori Shinchuu no Jutsu is a Genjutsu technique which causes the target to travel around in circles. If the ninja is unable to detect the illusion very quickly, they can become exhausted mentally and physically when they are unable to reach their desired target by traveling along the same path over and over.
This was used on naruto's team during the second part of the chunnin exams

Because it was a war-time situation, Kakkou hoped he could extract troop movements and battle plans from the young ninja. To try and break her will, he put her under a Genjutsu sensory spell. Because of Rin's strong will she was able to resist the pressure and not reveal any information.
This is torture without the physical damage... mentally exhausting the target until there will is broken. Try is on me... get me to reveal a secret this is the most fun one
