-_- you are dead because i caught you reflection and you want to know why your clone jutsu said they cause no threat which means you are the only one to summon lightning which me i had got your reflection so you can take the hit

another reason is they all look like you so even if i caught a clone reflection the lightning was cast by the original, so that will still strike you

it is a sure thing the opponent will suffer the damage i was to suppose to get if i have caught their reflection and let their attack hit my body

but if i let it hit the mirror itself, then the attack will bounce of besides earth and fires and water (water doesn't do anything effective)

but if someone manage to hit me where i should die like the heart or cut off my head than i will die

well if you are cheating then so is Hidan because his jutsu is very similar ^-^
everyone has some sort of Ace in the hole besides there are ways to render it useless espescially since it can only be used once per battle
