Background Info.
Akira is a member of the Kentaro clan. The Kentaro clan is a clan of wandering ninja. This clan is a nomadic one that travels around the shinobi world, settling for a few years at every village they visit, and then leaving to the next. The members of the clan usually have jobs that they can carry out on the road such as mercenary, bounty hunter, contract assassin or spy. Akira is seen as a particularly skilled shinobi and, unlike most members of his clan, is capable of doing all the aforementioned jobs to a very high level. He, however, operates mainly as a bounty hunter. Many members of the Kentaro clan are very highly skilled at kenjutsu (battling with swords and knives). Akira was born in Konohagakure, his parents were both highly respected Kentaro shinobi. As a young boy, Akira trained in the ninja academy in Konoha, but learned much more about ninjutsu from his parents than he learned from school. At the age of 6, he opted to take the genin graduation early, and he passed with flying colours. Akira was expected to become a great and powerful shinobi in the Leaf, so much that he even was recommended by the 3rd Hokage to become the next disciple of Kakashi Hatake. Just as Akira’s future was looking bright, though, his parents were killed when they went on a spying mission for the leaf. Akira soon became unsettled in the village, struggling with acute depression. He began to feel as if Konoha offered him very little shelter from his inner demons, so he decided to part ways with the village, and forge his own path in life. At the age of 7, he parted ways from the village on a mutual agreement. On the day that he left, he swore on his honour as a shinobi that he would never reveal secrets of or betray the Leaf, and he has stuck to that code of silence to this day. When Akira first left, he resided in the forests surrounding Konoha, arduously training and refining his skills as a shinobi, and learning to live by nature. When Akira turned 12, he left the forest and travelled to the Wind Country, and took odd jobs from various feudal lords and villages there. It was there that he perfected his use of the Wind Element, training under Sand Village elders that offered to take him under their wing for a few years, after seeing the huge potential that lied within him. He never truly became a Sand Village shinobi, but he collaborated with the Sand often, and went on missions with their ninja. When he turned 15, Akira decided that it was time he moved on, and so he departed Sunagakure for the Mist Village in the Water Country. It is there that he resides now, not as an official Kiri shinobi, but as a Ronin, training to become an official Mist Village ANBU, and to eventually become a hunter-nin. He and his companion, a dog named Natsu, now wander the shinobi world, looking for places for work.
