First, tell me why you want to learn Lightning. What's so fascinating about it?

Well there are many fascinating things about lightning one is that when lightning strikes that is the only time plasma the phase of matter is on earth. Some more things is its power. It's beautiful but deadly. It's also not very as I would say certain? As in it is very unpredictable . In the end I like lightning because it's abstract,strong,different,special,powerful,and unpredictable

 

[Adachi]

Hm. An interesting response...and actually, let's derive off of your thoughts on Lightning.
Since you will be utilizing this amazing element soon, how do you think Lightning chakra would flow in general?

 

[Shirou Emiya]

I think through the body lightning chakra would flow very spasmaticly? Sort of like a person with a heart that beats very fast and at unpredictable times. I.e. at first very fast and rigid then slacks off and then gains intensity again. Or like the seismograph papers when an earthquake happens

 

[Adachi]

Hm...that's interesting. o_o I've never heard Lightning being compared to a beating heart, but that's a beastly comparison.

So, with that feeling, hold out your dominant hand and proceed to utilize your chakra in that very manner. Intensify it, as you just said, to the point where you are able to have sparks dance across the palm of your hands.

Whilst you do that, tell me what Lightning is strong and weak to and how you might use such knowledge in a battle.

 

[Shirou Emiya]

i extend my right hand and begin to focus some of my lightning chakra into my hand. i see a spark but then its gone. this time i focus a little more this time i make 5 sparks simultaniously. this time i focus even harder and make the 5 sparks bounces on the surface of my hand in a dancing motion. i then say:
~ lightning is a very strong element. it is strong against water due to the fact water conducts electricity. another thing lightning would be good against is steel or metal due to the same reason as water.
lightnings weakness would be earth because earth is an insulator and it would render lightning weaker.
some more special things about lightning is
A: it cuts
B: it paralysis
C: it can be in a beam or wave
D: it is hot and can burn

 

[Adachi]

Well, alright, while your post makes sense, that is not the way it is in the Naruto universe.
In the Naruto universe, Lightning is strong against Earth, being able to break through it, while it is weak to Wind because the Wind can "blow away" a huge area of a Lightning attack.

Now, once again, proceed to focus Lightning in your hands, but this time, attempt to aim those bolts at my clone, striking him.

alrighty i begin to focus a realativly small amount of lightnig chakra into my hand. i start to see a couple of little sparks. once i start to see sparks i raise my hand and use my lightning chakra to push the sparks with quite some force at your clone. the sparks hit and your clone poofs into smoke.

Very good, however, let's focus on some details here.
1. Where did you aim the sparks on my clone and why?
2. On an actual human being, what might be the initial impact?

 

[Shirou Emiya]

~well sir I aimed at his heart to try and mess with his heart beat and maybe give him a heart attack.
On a normal human the initial impact would be his skin? He would feel like a shockyfeeling and then he would go numb if I put enough chakra into it. Unless I hit and it reached the heart because then it might cause it to shut down.

Congratulations on your first jutsu, by the way. ^_^
Anyhow, let us move on. Now, using the exact same way you focused your Raiton earlier, I want you to generate a pool of it into your hand. Then, when you believe you have stored enough chakra, slam the ground with your hand and release the chakra through it towards my feet. Remember to maintain steady control as you do so.
Tell me what happens when it strikes me.

 

[Shirou Emiya]

I begin storing chakra in my hand . I see little sparks dancing across it. I then add more chakra so that it is little arches of lighting in my palm. I then raise my hand and slam it into the ground with quite some force. I then push the chakra out of my hand and into the ground. It travels along the ground in a circular like pattern. When it hits your feet it shocks you and then passes on like a wave.

 

[Adachi]

So how would any normal opponent react to this and how would you take advantage of it?

 

[Shirou Emiya]

I would say if it was just a normal opponent with no justsu they would just jump off the ground and try to get out the way.
In terms of my advantages it would leave them open for attack it doesn't require too much chakra (don't think) and it doesn't require hand seals
Their advantages I would have to slam my hand on the ground s they would have time to react

This time, instead of focusing your Raiton chakra into your hand, I want you to focus on letting it surround and blanket your body. Push it out from the pores of your skin and let it cover you like a shield.

yes sir
I begin to focus my lighting chakra that's flowing in my body . I begin to "push" it out of my body. I can feel it as it seeps out of me. At first it's kind of unorganized but I then stabilize it so that it is in a perfect oval around the outside of my body

Excellent. So what kind of moves do you think this can defend against?
