Akatsuki's True Leader?

Now that Tobi is Obito there is no way he was the leader, even Nagato said he is easily replaced & konan almost defeated him.. Tobi as "Obito" isn't as powerful as some thought him to be..

I believe the story of Yahiko being the leader and passing it to Nagato.
Nagato could have destroyed the leaf before the war started but saw something greater than himself in naruto. Even Tobi said he was invincible and techniqually was never defeated.

Who knows what black & white zestu is capable of doing..
That being said Yahiko started Akatsuki if anything eles Madara gave him only an idea if that.

That was pain. Nagato himself was having a pretty nice time wrecking Killer Bee and KM Naruto at the same time until Itachi became good again.

To be honest obito is fairly smart and strong but if somehow nagato is stronger obito is still the leader and he gives the commands -.-

Obito/Tobi was the leader of Akatsuki. Nagato was taking orders from him. According to Konan, Yahiko created Akatsuki but we really don't now whether or not Yahiko was receiving orders from Tobi.

Tobi WAS not the strongest. The keyword here is WAS because he recently acquired the strength of the Rinnegan and the power of the tailed beasts. He got tossed around by Konan ffs and he was cautious of Itachi.

Strength wise I would say it was:

Itachi or Nagato
Kisame
etc
etc

Take note that Akatsuki does not exist anymore because all of the existing members are dead or defeated. Akatsuki's prime time was in the beginning and mid Shippuden.

Definately Yahiko. He kept the organisation together with his will and drive alone. He was the true leader of the Akatsuki, even Nagato couldn't do what he did, hence why it all fell apart.

The Akatsuki was doomed as soon as Yahiko died.
