Itachi & Kisame.- No, i think you dont need any explanation.
Pain & Konan. - No, even pain is able to solo.
Hidan & Kakuzu. - No, if you would say gai + 7gate> hidan... If they don't have intel about Hidan he would kill gai who is gutsy one then kakashi maybe understand his talent after his death like Asuma. but it's too late for him 2v1. Therefore all the time Kakuzu would be there too.
Deidara & Sasori.- 3rd Kazekage's magnet release, Sasori's poisons and Deidara's long range attacks maybe kakashi would able to counter it but Gai can not do much thing to it. Bad match up for taijutsu user.
Tobi & Zetsu - He can able to warp them like when he tried to minato and he avoid with FTG. They dont have any instantly Jutsu and zetsu is really good support.

-Itachi/Kisame. I dont necessarily believe it though b/c I dont know ANYONE who can beat Itachi so this is alittle biased. But FYI if Gai opened all 8 Gates he'd die, but they'd beat anyone on that list.

-Itachi/Kisame - do I even need to give an explanation? They take it, mid difficulty, high (seriously doubt it) at most.
-Pain/Konan - Pain solos. Again, do I even need to give an explanation?
-Hidan/Kakuzu - Yeah, Kakashi and Guy could take this, high-extreme difficulty.
-Deidara/Sasori - See above, though Deidara's a bad match-up for them, especially Guy
-Tobi/Zetsu: Tobi rapes, especially if he has Neo Pain and their Bijuu with him.

Having knowledge don't makes you untouchable against a jutsu. If it was the case, everybody would be untouchable against Tsukiyomi, Amaterasu or Susanoo.

Dude, Guy has long range taijutsu and Kakashi has 1000 jutsu. 300 of those jutsus are probably long-range

If anything, the knowledge from the past battles would favour the smarter character.

Which is Kakashi, he's smarter than every Akatsuki member, yes, even Itachi. Although not much smarter than Itachi, but his intellect has been hyped more.

urm once they know, sasori can cover himself with an iron sand ball like gaara does with his sand, deidara can just fly higher this time, with consecutive attacks, kakashi WON'T be able to concentrate and get kamui from long distances... the further the distance the harder it is.. hope you realize that

considering the OP didn't specify starting distance/location etc We should assume it's something neutral, say like 30 metres?

We know Kakashi and Gai can easily close the distance, as we seen in their battle with the V2 Jins.

If Deidara takes flight, he is just asking to get warped away.

Gai always has his gated attacks, and he is by far the fastest in that matchup.

and kakashi has long range abilities? like what? what could possibly be able to get sasori and deidara out of the sky? Katon? really? if it can even get that far up..



Kakaashi doesn;t use kamui at the beggining of fights... He knowws he's going blind, and he isn't one to just waste away his teammates memento (obito)

he uses it as last restort, or for something extremely important

HOW is he asking to get his ass warped? when he'' be getting attacked by homing missiles and other things.. he was able to warm deidara last time because he wasn't paying attention to them.. just flying... with attacks coming at him, he'll have to dodge..
