Akatsuki's had their own reason for becoming Outlaws which where mainly related to something in their past but some of the Akatsuki were there just for the Kill for example Hidan, Deidara and Kakuzu

OT: one by one : Itachi: Double agent, working for the good guys. Not much too say

Nagato: Even though peace was his target, he had a really violent way to go for it. He is more like a terrorist, where he tries to achieve piece by killing thousands of people. He can be considered good only after his talk with Naruto.

Kisame: He also was fighting for an ideal , like Nagato , and he had really violent ways of doing so too. Wouldn't really call him agood guy, only maybe deep deep inside. We don't know about his really past (childhood) so he might have motives.

Tobito: Good turned bad. Classic. His logic is now flawed and twisted, and works to achieve a dreamworld where there will be only piece and he will be back with Rin. Probably good deep inside, but right now he can't be called good.

Deidara: Really cool guy (one of my faves), was forced to join, works pretty much for him self and his art. Neither "good" or "bad"

Sasori: Good turned bad through anger. Later turned good again, thanks mainly to Chiyo.

Kakuzu: Ruthless Mercanary. So, bad.

Konan: Same with Nagato.

Zetsu: Unknown own motives, simply following Madara/Obito

Hidan: Killing for fun, no known further motives. Wouldn't call him good.

Orochimaru: Ridiculously twisted villain for the first part, now more toned down. Left the akatsuki , which doesn't really say much.
Can't be called good

Pre-Akatsukis (eg Yahiko): Fought against Hanzo and others for piece in the land of Rain.So, good.

Ok so if u think about it how many akatsuki have turned out to be not so bad example sasori allowed himself to die, itachi was also a nice guy, kisame died because he wanted a world without lies one of truth which isn't so bad nagato and konan were awesome people too

Deidara loved to blow tiings up for the sake of what he called art.

Sasori was an evil psychopath who loved to make puppets from human beings. EVEN if he had a reason for it; the loss of his parents, what he did is just too evil and disgusting.

Hidan was a religious fanatic who killed for the sake of his God.

Kakuzu was obsessed with money and cared little about anything other else.

Oro... Oro is just plain out evil xD

Yahiko, Konan, Nagato: Geez, shouldn't it be obvous

Obito: The guy lost the one he loved by the hands of his rival/best friend. And unfortunately he was born an Uchiha, the cursed clan.

Itachi: went through hell for the sake of his village and his little brother whom he loved.
