Pain will not show is true power for the next fight to come for one simple reason:
Is real power reside with his true body, and to make that body come out and play u need to kill his current one. This situation is most likely to happen with naruto, but pein won't come out since his goal is not to kill naruto, but to capture him, so he'll just do some new body and re attack naruto with a new strategy. There's also the possibility that someone else kill pein's body and that person will be dead soon if he does!
