However, since it's a long ranged technique, the opponent would have the chance to react to your attack by preparing something to counter it. If they use a katon technique then your slicing wind wave wouldn't be that effecive.[/COLOR][/I]

Correction: (disadvantage) Since it's a short range then the opponent can use your own technique to his own advantage such as sending a paper bomb that will explode when in contact with your technique. And it will mainly mess up if the opponent uses a fire or exploding technique at close range to counter attack you.

Seeing you sending a weak wind jutsu towards me, I raise up my hands in front of me as I focus my fuuton chakra to them. Then sending that chakra outwardly, I release a gust of wind which I manipulate when your technique and mine clashes, it cuts through your wind technique in such a manner that it would be completly neutralised instead of just cutting through it.

This technique is good to use if you have no intention of damaging the one sending the fuuton technique at you but only block it. It will also prevent damage to the surrounding. Am not sure but according to the image I found, then it can also make some great damage? (anyway if it's wrong then I take back my last sentence).

This technique is no so high ranked, only C-Rank so it can only neutralise C-Rank and below wind techniques and according to the jutsu's description, it doesn't cause any damage. =/

Description: This technique after performing the required hand seals Tiger → Hare → Dragon allows the user to summon a cyclone of petals to attack their opponent. Therefore, the user can increase the direction and power of the technique to the maximum as a last resort.

I start by performing the required handseals Tiger → Hare → Dragon which allows some petals and wind to be summoned spinning in a not so violent manner around me. I then manipulate this wind and petals so that go towards my target's location in a fast spinning manner, making a vortex.

It hits the target in chest level, sending him flying backwards.

The use of petals in this technique would disturb the opponent more than if it was a wind vortex only. The petals would block the opponent's vision and also (maybe) lightly cut the opponent from different parts of his/her body.
Since it's actually something physical (the petals) which are pushing the target backwards then the opponent would have more difficulties to form handseals or even move at all.
It's also nice that one can form more than a single vortex, that would allow us to aim at multiple targets or simply use it at the same target but from multiple directions.

What would be bad about this technique is that since it cover the opponent with petals while pushing them back, it would give us a hard time to see the opponent. That would give him/her a chance to (for example) evade while making a clone, pretending that you actually caught him/her.
And not sure but a water technique would probably ruin our jutsu imo because if the petals absorbs the water then they would become slower and so the vortex will require more efforts? =/

I focus my chakra blending it with the wind which is in front of me. While sending it as a gust of wind towards your clone, I also start compressing it making it very sharp and thin so it would be able to cut through things.

As it travels, it finally reaches your clone and cuts him from his legs making him then dissapear because of the damage.

I'm a katana freak so think technique is cool since it doesn't require any handseals (I guess I can use it while fighting with a sword? ). It easily cuts through direct lightning attack, giving you a secure path in order to keep on advancing and is also great for slicing the opponent.

I would find this technique rather useless when it comes to protecting ourselves against large attacks which are directed at multiple targets because you'll only be able to stop it from were you performed the attack.

Korra san throws a swords towards me which is turning in a circle in mid air, I grab it with my right hand from its hilt.

I then start on focusing some of my fuuton chakra to my right hand which I then send to the sword, filling it with fuuton chakra.

I then target a place where I won't hurt anyone by performing the technique and start swinging the sword towards the bottom-left part of my body, preparing to release the wind chakra soon enough.

Keeping the chakra concentrated in the sword, I stretch my arms as I swing the sword from my bottom-left to my top right in a stronger and quicker manner than before. Releasing all of the chakra I had focused in it, it forms a whirlwind of gust which travels in a straight trajectory to mid-range.

This is a nice technique for sword users, allowing them to perform fuuton techniques whith their own sword. It allows them to push back the opponent and damages them a little.

The technique can only be used if you have a sword and while using it, you can most probably not perform any handseals since one of your hand would be holding the sword.

First jutsu:

I first start by turning my chakra to fuuton chakra. I then focus it in my mouth while forming 2 handseals then releasing the wind from my mouth, I make use of the shape manipulation. I make the wind form into a spinning disc which I then continue on using shape manipulation while turning it to look like a shadow shuriken

Since it's made out of wind then it's probably difficult to see it.
Not really sure about the advantages for this one except that you'll have a shadow shuriken to throw instead of actually carrying one in battle... and it's probably stronger than a shadow shuriken I supposed?

It can easily be taken advantage of with wind itself, an opponent can direct this attack to somewhere else or maybe even send it back... aaaand fire would easily take this technique.


Second jutsu:

Starting by focusing my chakra inside of me forming it into fuuton chakra, I then focus it to my lungs as I breath in some air.
I blend the fuuton chakra with the wind inside my lungs and then sending it to my mouth, I compress it sa much as I can and then release it in a strong manner towards your clone. It's sent out as a blast of wind and as it reaches your clone, it makes him fly backwards, pushing him back.

This is a great technique to use when you want to make some distance between you and your opponent by pushing him/her backwards. It can also be used in order to make an opening for a next attack from underneath him while he/she's in mid air.

What I find disadvantageous about this technique is that it can be dangerous towards explosives. if there's a paper bomb near you then you should get away before using that technique. The opponent can also take advantage of wind by sending an explosive towards it causing smoke to appear which will block your vision.

(Futon: Reppuu Bakufuu no Jutsu) - Wind Release: Gale Blast Technique:

As I receive the fan from you, I turn towards your clone while opening the fan and positionning myself in a manner to prepare myself for the jutsu. I have a good grip of the fan with both of my hands and have now moved my right hand towards my left side (from the front) and my left hand a bit backwards. That allowed me to be ready to swing the fan to my right side when I'm prepared.

Until now, I've been using my own body to release wind technique while this time, I had a weapon. Using the same concept I've learned in kenjutsu which was that the weapon is an extention of your own body, I release some of my chakra to the fan, allowing it to be filled with fuuton chakra.

I then swung the fan as fast and as strong as I could to my right side while releasing the fuuton chakra it had inside of it. That caused a blast of wind which sent the clone flying uppon impact.

It's nice that we don't need to form any handseals for this technique while we're using a fan... would be troublesome. Sending the opponent flying backwards could be at your advantage if you want them to get away from you or to cause them more damage if there was something solid behind them.

When using this technique, you'll release it in an area larger than your opponent's size so it would probably also cause some damage to the surrounding.


(Futon: Ressenpū) - Wind Release: Violent Whirlwind:

I take a deep breath while using my fuuton chakra focusing it to my lungs. There, I enhance the air I've breathed in with the chakra and start to breathe out everything while having my mouth open just enough to make the air get out in a strong manner (so that the technique will last longer than if we had our mouth wide open). Releasing it on your clone, it hits him, causing him to leave the ground while receiving damage until he poofs away.

It's a nice multi-target technique which you can use in different direction by turning yourself to the right/left allowing you to be able to follow the opponent with the technqiue.

It doesn't seem to be strong to the extend of causing major damage to a non-clone target.

(Fūton: Kujaku Senpūjin) - Wind Release: Peacock Whirlwind Formation:

Starting by focusing fuuton chakra towards my right hand with which I was holding my katana, I send that chakra to the katana making it surround it. Then I start spinning that fuuton chakra and release it as a vortex of wind which starts to surround my entire body while going in an anti-clockwise manner. The clone that was close to me gets pushed back from the wind.

This technique somehow makes me think of a weaker (much weaker) version of Pein's Shinra Tensei Well it's quite helpful to push back technique that were heading towards you or surrounding you, like for example Gaara's sand. It will also push back opponents at short range from you.

What I find to be a disadvantage in this technique is that you might not be able to cast a technique around you since the vortex of wind would mess it up. Like if you release fire then it would just burn you, lightning it weak to wind so it will also get weaker... You cannot reach your bodyparts outside the vortex either. The only thing I would still find possible to use are technique that requires your to slam the ground, ofc there might be some other techniques aswell but ye...

(Fūton: Shinkūjin) - Wind Release: Vacuum Blade:

I start by focusing my fuuton chakra to my mouth then infuse the air I got with that chakra. I take out a kunai and exhale that wind-infused chakra at it, causing it to extend its range and sharpness.

This technique is great for both short range fightning and mid range fighting. If using a kunai, you can extend it and make it sharper in order to make it easier for you while fighting an opponent, it will be like having a katana because of its length. When it comes to shurikens it will also cause their slicing range to be much longer than it actually is.

What's bad about this is that it might be more risky to damage yourself with the technique if you cannot see the weapon's extension. In the fight with Danzo vs Sasuke they were both using sharingan so they could clearly see it but I don't know about shinobis without any dojutsu or sensory techniques.

Question: I can use it on a katana/sword, right?

I breathe in some air and then infuse that air with my fuuton chakra. Then releasing that air from my mouth, I manipulate it in such a manner that it starts to violently travels towards your clone while I make it turn around itself to take the shape of a twister. As it reaches the clone's destination, I aim it at the clone's right shoulder with then crushes it causing the clone to dissapear.

I find it to be an intersting jutsu to use if we're aiming at breaking a particular part of an opponent's body. It can also be used against attacks that are coming from mid air towards us.

It is kinda similar to a miniature version of a vortex but cannot be used at the opponent's entire body because it's too small.

According to the narutowiki, the first images of that page shows the technique being performed against one of Pein's paths.

(Fūton: Shinkūken) - Wind Release: Shock Blade:

I start by focusing my fuuton chakra to my right hand in which I'm holding my katana with. Then enhancing the katana with that chakra, I swing it horizontally in mid air, aiming at the kunai your clone just threw while releasing the fuuton chakra I kept in my katana. An arc of wind chakra is formed and travels towards the kunai and makes it loose its initial direction while it also reaches to your clone causing him some damage that makes him dissapear.

This technique is good to use if you already have your sword/katana drawn. It doesn't really need to have a particular target, if there are multiple offensive object heading towards you then you can use this technique in order to push them away.

It can get messy if the opponent uses a fire technique that can counter our jutsu, the fire would get even greater...

I enhance my katana with the fuuton chakra that I've formed inside of me and then I perform a horizontal slash while releasing the fuuton chakra. I do so by making sure that the chakra release forms into a large gust of wind which will travel up to mid range hitting anything on its way

It is nice in order to push back some attacks while heading towards your target specially when the attack doesn't seem to be for slicing (it's a gust of wind afterall). Still it will cause some damange to the target and probably push him back.

This jutsu is not meant to be for slicnig which is something that one should be aware of in order to not get some unexpected results.

(Fūton: Dai Sakūgen Sebiti) - Wind Release: Great Slashing Tornado:
Using my fan, I focus a great amount of fuuton chakra into it and then waving it to my left side preparing to swing it to release the fuuton chakra inside of it. Now for the jutsu, I swing the fan in a strong manner while releasing the fuuton chakra inside of it. The wind is manipulated in such a manner that it turns into a minor tornado which travel to your clone and then ensnare the clone while causing it some damage. The tornado the gets weaker, unable to keep your clone in mid air, your clone falls to the ground and then poofs away.

I love this technique for having the ability to prevent your opponents of doing anything while they're also receiving damage from the tornado. I would use a fire attack with this wind technique to increase the damage and maybe have some trap in the ground where the opponent is supposed to fall down.

Would require you to form 4 handseals is you don't have a fan, else I don't really find any disadvantages =/

I begin to breath in some air as I'm focusing some fuuton chakra to enhance the air I've accumulated as I perform a series of hand seals. I then exhale everything all the air I had in the form of a slicing gust of wind, when it reaches your wind technique, it splits it and re-directs it to you.

This techniques is good to use against a B-rank or below wind technique as it strengthens your own jutsu which would allow you to cause more damage.

It is only works against wind technique so its usage is quite limited.

(Fūton: Mugen Sajin Daitoppa) - Wind Style: Infinte Sand Great Break Through:

I manipulate my chakra to spread around me and blend with some sand and dust from the environment allowing me to gather it. I then release a gust of wind enhanced with my fuuton chakra and the sand/dust aiming towards your clone which allows me to push him away.

The sand and dust can blind the opponent which can come to handy if you want to do something whithout letting the oponent be aware of it. The jutsu also pushes back the opponent which would cause them to in less control of their balance.

Hmm, maybe you can't use this technique if there's not sand/dust in yoru environment

(One of the techniques I've been wanting to learn U_U)

I close my right hand and focus chakra into my fist. Then doing a punching motion with it, I release air which forms into a giant adaptabe whirlwind.

This technique allows you to attack the opponent with it, causing some damage while pushing him back. It can also counter some incoming projectile and sometimes allows you to get out of somewhere if you are stuck. There's also the possibility to launch a fire + wind combo with it.

As for disadvantages, I believe this technique will require you to be positionned in a good manner if you don't want to be pushed back. So that means that one must have good footing.


(Fūton: Dai Kamaitachi) - Wind Style: Great Cutting Whirlwind:

(That must be the shortest jutsu description I've ever seen xd)

I begin by performing some quick handseals and breathe in air into my lungs, I enhance that air with fuuton chakra. Then releasing all the air, a gust of cutting wind is formed which then travels at great speed towards the opponent pushing him backwards while giving him some cutting injuries.

This jutsu pushes back the opponent while also causing some injuries to the opponent. If I remember correctly it can also be use with a fan (without any handseals).

We cannot manipulate the slashes so they are pretty much random and if you don't have a fan then you'll have to perform few handseals.
