After a few hours of sitting, Raiden takes out his sword and practices a few strikes and katas for a while.

Barrett sits outside the cabin,crossed armed and leaning his back on the hard wooden wall. With his eyes scanning the area he sees Akira approaching and he stares him down for a bit before going back to looking around through the dense foliage to spot any kind of opposition that may attack,"Hmmmm..." he taps the inner part of his arm with his finger in boredom

Darth quickly using his sword deals 3 piercing attacks in the first monster, defeating it, then the other 4 attack him, he dodge 3 of them by jumping but the other still connects, he loses 1/5 of his life. "Hmpf", he then in the air makes a movement with the sword and it becomes white, he is casting the skill called Wind Slash, he then slashes the air with the sword which forms a wind current in the form of a crescent moon that defeats 2 of the wolves, 2 left now, he thinks it would be easy, but then a more powerful monster, lvl 5 appear and deal a hit from behind him, he is left with 300 hit points, which is 3/5 of his total life.

"Dang it, I was careless, I didn't think a mini-boss would appear"

He says that as he quickly attacks the 2 other wolves to defeat them, having some difficult, now what is left is the mini-boss. He sees the woman finished the wolves on her side, he hears her talking.

"Hello Ekira, my name is Darth, now help me with this, this is a mini-boss!"

"Darth, huh.."

Erika hurries to aid the man who helped her earlier to deal with the mini-boss in front of them.
"Alright!"

She uses Yamatsunami to close in on her target at high speed and attacks him with her sword,
the mini-boss blocks her sword with his large axe and tries to attack her, but she quickly jumps back!

"That was close..but i'll need to be faster!"

Raiden jumps off the top of the cabin and lands swiftly and quietly on the ground. He then leaves to a nearby forest to grind.

 

[Mizkui Raita]

After a hard day of killing monsters Kikyo finds a small cabin and notices the light. Un sure of it she makes camp a fair distance away and continues to fight the nearby beast as she waits for morning

Raiden cuts down a beast in the forest and looks around.

"This isn't enough. I need something else."

After cutting down another beast she notices a person in the near distance and contemplates whether to approach him or not

Raiden walks through the forest and hears a deep and loud growl behind him. Turning around, he sees a massive scorpion towering above him, its stinger primed to attack.

"Maybe this will be sufficient."

Raiden draws his blade and gets into a battle stance.

Kikyo see's the scorpion and rushes into battle drawing he sword. "Something like that has to drop something good."

 

[Goetia]

Raiden starts by dodging the attack by the scorpion's stinger. He then grabs it with his left hand and throws it over his head and into a nearby tree. He then rushes over and severs the entire tail and a few of its legs. However, he is slightly taken off guard when it fires a black poison at him. He dodges the first attack, but one more bit of poison is fired and catches his ankle.

"Tch."

 

[Mizkui Raita]

Kikyo rushes straights in and avoids the stinger, she deals mild blows but as long as it gives the stronger time to get back in the game, even if she loses a lot of health while doing it.

 

[Goetia]

Raiden, while checking his ankle to see the damage, he is surprised to see another player rush in and attack. He watches her attack the beast without fear. What was she thinking? She could get herself killed. He had to help her. Just as the scorpion prepares to attack her, Raiden jumps in front of her. The beast then launches 3 projectiles that fly towards Raiden. Raiden swings around and catches one with his robotic foot, and the other two are deflected into a nearby tree by his sword.

Kikyo is amazed with his stranger. He has guts and clearly no fear. She drinks a health potion and gets straight back in, "Lets work together to take this down!"

 

[Goetia]

"You got it."

Raiden kicks the blade he caught with his foot up into the air and catches it. He then throws it at the scorpion's eye and hits it dead centre. He then rushes in and creates a large gash in it's back.

"Now's your cue, go!"

 

[Mizkui Raita]

Kiky happily nods her head and run straight in, using her speed she rapidly stabs the scorpion in its head and around its whole body, using her best skill she slices the legs off, "Go ahead! Finish it!" she shouts falling to the ground and watches her health decrease. The poison seems to have long term affects, especially on fast moves

 

[Goetia]

Following the instruction, Raiden jumps above it's head and holds his sword over it's head. He then slashes the head multiple times, and the head splits into multiple pieces. Then, to finish it off, Raiden runs to the middle area of it and slices it open, so that it's giant beating heart is exposed. He reaches towards it with his free arm and grabs it, ripping it out. He then crushes it, and black blood sprays all over his face. He then gets a notification from his player menu.

"A new skill?"

Raiden looks at the notification and reads the words aloud.

"Blade mode..."

 

[Mizkui Raita]

"Well done, I guess it didn't drop anything important." Kikyo says giggling, she opens her last health and restores at least half of her health. "You're a great player."

 

[Goetia]

"It dropped the poison in it's stinger, I just chose not to pick it up. And thanks, you are too."

Raiden sheaths his sword.

"The name's Raiden."

 

[Mizkui Raita]

Kikyo stands up holds out her hand for a handshake. "Kikyo. Nice to meet ya."

Raiden accepts the handshake.

"Its good to meet you too."

Raiden looks in the direction from which he entered the forest.

"Say, would you like to come to join me and a group of players in a nearby cabin that we're spending the night in?"
