Raiden sits on the side of the cliff and thinks for hours on end.

"Is it time for me to leave these people? They shouldn't need me anymore."

Raiden gets up and looks back at the cabin.

 

[Akatsukii]

After several hours of grinding and leveling up his weapons (Is this what you do?) Barrett returns to the cabin with a tired but proud smile on his face. As he begins to enter through the door he sees Raiden staring at the cabin with a very thoughtful expression so Barrett approaches him,"Is there something wrong here?"

 

[Goetia]

Yeah, you grind to get better weapons and skills.

"Nothing's wrong. I just want to get out of here is all."

Raiden gets up and walks to the cabin.

 

[Akatsukii]

As Raiden walks by Barrett turns to look at him,"...And where do you plan on going?" he asks

 

[Goetia]

Raiden stops just as the man asks a question. He thinks about it for a few moments.

"I'll be going with you guys."

 

[Akatsukii]

Barrett smirks,"Right choice. I don't belive we've been properly introduced..." he extends his hand in the hope of receiving a handshake from the swordsman."My name is Leonard,Barrett Leonard and yours?"

 

[Goetia]

Raiden extends his arm to accept the handshake.

"The name's Raiden. It's good to meet you Barrett."

 

[Akatsukii]

Barrett smiles"Likewise...." he lets go of Raiden's hand and his grin turns into something of a smirk,"Heh I need to stretch my legs a bit,how about a spar swordsman uh, I mean Raiden? What do you say?" he asks as he rubs his gauntlet as if already prepared to fight.

 

[Goetia]

"If you wish."

Raiden draws his sword and takes a ready stance.

Barrett smirks and makes a dash towards Raiden. He quickly maneuvers his right leg behind Raiden's left and uses his superior weight to knock the swordsman off balance. Barrett then shoves his knee straight into Raiden's gut and delivers a sharp elbow to his back

 

[Goetia]

As Raiden is tripped over, he makes no move to defend himself until the last moment. He brings his arms up and blocks the blow. He lands swiftly on his feet after flying through the air for a few seconds.

"Not bad...what's next?"

 

[Akatsukii]

Barrett seems completely dumbfounded by Raiden's nonchalance,"You arent going to retaliate? Where's the sport in that?"

 

[Dãrth1]

Darth, exhausted after running from the boss room, finally reaches the city, he then go find the others.

 

[Goetia]

Barrett seems completely dumbfounded by Raiden's nonchalance,"You arent going to retaliate? Where's the sport in that?"

"Alright, I'll get serious now."

Raiden runs towards Barrett quickly and takes a jab at his stomach, stunning him. He then jumps into the air and kicks him in his right shoulder.

 

[Akatsukii]

"That's it. says Barrett under his breath as he is struck in the stomach. He looks up just in time to see Raiden delivers a kick to his shoulder which he takes the brunt of and counters by grabbing Raiden's ankle and throwing him to the ground,"I thought you were getting serious?" Barrett says sarcastically which a snicker

 

[Goetia]

As Raiden falls to the ground, he puts his hands to the ground and rolls backwards, though not all of the impact was eliminated. The man's goading was getting on his nerves, but getting angry wouldn't help. He draws his sword and walks towards Barrett.

 

[Akatsukii]

"Taking the slow and steady route are we? I expected a more direct approach from you Raiden." Barrett charges towards Raiden and attempts to tackle him to the ground

 

[Goetia]

After all the taunting, Raiden finally snaps. As the man comes to tackle him to the ground, Raiden just punches him straight into the floor.

"You've asked for it."

Raiden then kicks Barrett a few metres away.

 

[Dãrth1]

After searching for some time, Darth finds Raiden and Barret in a battle
"Stop! You know you can die right?"
He says that as he comes between them

 

[Goetia]

"It's just a spar, don't worry."

Raiden points the kissaki of the sword at the boy, not to threaten but to show he was talking to him.

"Anyway, what brings you here?"
