How can Kai be worse than Z when it's remastered Z without the filler? Let me guess, you watched English Dub as a kid and have a completely mistaken idea of what Dragon Ball Z should be like. I'm glad I didn't watch it as kid, because there's no nostalgia to blind me from how dubbed Z is hands down the worst thing I've ever seen and heard in dubbed anime.

Funimation Americanized it to beyond ridiculous levels, with the stereotypical gravelly voice for the muscular hero. They altered his character to practically make his personality more like a mini Superman, leaving a lot of English-speaking fans to chunter on about how DBS Goku's fighting obsession and stupidity is not "DBZ Goku" when it actually is. Cell always sounds like he needs a crap, Vegeta's voice is grating and Goten and Trunks are 7 and 8 yet sound like they're teens who have been on a all-night screamo karaoke session. The rest of the cast's voicing are equally irritating and the only character that's ever been spot on in dub is Beerus.

yeah if you look back at the og english dub it ain't so good. I've seen people who act like frieza's old voice is better than his new one which I can't really grasp personally. What's funny is that they proabably don't like Goku's jap voice for being girly but they're ok with Freeza sounding like some grandma. Also they should've kept the og score for the z dub especially in the movies. Ugh f**k the shitty rock music they inserted in.
