"Essentially, they're just bodily clones of the user, which the user manipulates into performing numerous functions, but lack the capability of either independent judgments or information transportation. In other words, good for a bluff, but not for an ally. Seems complicated, but I think I get it. Thank you Dean-sensei."

*Agnes does a slight curtsy before listening to Dean's newest set of instructions, this time a quite simple jutsu. Agnes nods before beginning her new explanation.*

"Well, this jutsu is simply enough just funneling Raiton chakra into your sword to increase both its cutting power and its damaging power. On its own, there isn't much to say, but there are a few limitations to this jutsu that ought to be known. The most important is that unlike the Fuuton variant of this jutsu, this particular chakra enhancement cannot be morphed into different shapes, but rather stays within the shape of the sword, but otherwise... this jutsu is just enhancing your sword with Raiton... I just don't have much to say here, although I have a few questions about this jutsu: first, exactly how long does the enhancement last, only for one swing, the turn of which it was activated, or some other methodology? And second, if I would to use a move that creates an arc of chakra that moves out from the sword when it's enhanced, would the Raiton stay on the sword, or travel within the arc?"

"Indeed."

Dean says, as he listens to her next set of analyses of the technique. She was on point, as usual. Did she ever need any assistance, such a brave girl, proud and just. Dean thought as he listens.

"Very good, the technique lasts only for the turn that it was used, basically always used right before a Kenjutsu technique for immediate effect. As for the second question, the arc would just be enhanced by +15, if it is a Kenjutsu technique (+15 to kenjutsu and standard attacks). Anyway, here you go."

Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A (+15 to kenjutsu and standard attacks)
Description: The user channels their lightning chakra into a blade, increasing its vibrating frequency and giving it more cutting power than standard wind techniques.

"Now for the next technique, you will perform the Ram hand seal and manipulate your Lightning based chakra. You will then raise your dominant hand into the sky, which would cause an electrical discharge to be triggered, shocking the opponent almost immediately after. A nice combination technique, since it can be done right after the opponent has been hit with a water based technique, or while they are on a water source or so."

"This jutsu sounds really no different than the Fangs of Lightning or Lightning Rod jutsu, in that the end results of all three jutsu are pretty similar, and that how they are performed are all also similar, with some technical differences. The Fangs of Lightning jutsu needs chakra funneled from a source which already has concentrated Raiton chakra, a tool, hand, etc, which then gets sent into a cloud, where the chakra will influence the immediate delivery of a lightning bolt upon a specified spot. This spot cannot be changed, which makes it hard to adapt to a swiftly moving shinobi. The Lightning Rod jutsu, meanwhile, can be aimed, as it requires no middle man for jutsu performance, but comes at a cost of losing the ability to utilize your hands for any other jutsu preparations. However, the end result of both of these jutsus is that it creates a lightning bolt, that's consistent of focused chakra. This mostly means that both of these jutsus are more difficult to combine with Suiton jutsus of a large-scale size, as they only strike a particular portion of an area instead of being a broad general attack. Thus, they lack the capability of spreading swiftly throughout a jutsu, therefore, it's difficult to combine with any other elements to an elemental combination."

"What makes this newest jutsu different is that, besides the Ram hand seal being needed for performance, the end result is that this jutsu creates an unfocused and generalized discharge of electricity that travels towards the opponent. This essentially means that this jutsu, unlike the other two explained previously, can be utilized for a combination attack. However, not all unfocused Raiton attacks can be utilized in a combination attack, those that travel alongside the ground, such as the Electric Discharge Palm, can't be used in this way. To put it bluntly, this jutsu is essentially a more powerful Electromagnetic Murder with a longer range because of the methodology behind its performance."

*Agnes then stretches, prepared for the next jutsu.*

The techniques raced past, as the sun started setting. The orange sun could be seen, as Dean listened to Agnes' analysis of her latest technique. It was as good, and as such, Dean throws the scroll towards her.

"Great job, here you go."

Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: By Performing the ram hand seal the user will manipulate their chakra and they then raise their hand to the sky and an electrical discharge is triggered shocking the target.

"The next technique requires the usage of two large Windmill shuriken. You will take out two of said shuriken, and channel your Lightning chakra into them. These shuriken are then thrown towards the opponent, and manipulated through the usage of electrical cable, connected to the shuriken. This allows you to change the direction of the shuriken, and upon impact, it delivers a numbing shock to paralyze the opponent. A very simple technique."

*As the sun begins to set upon the day, Agnes sighs slightly, full knowing that they may very well continue far into the night. Still, there's a form of relaxation amongst the continual trainings... probably mostly to do with the lack of physical effort upon this training at this point, but she'd like to think that this is at least somewhat enjoyable for Dean... possibly... maybe... at the very least she's enjoying it somewhat. Not wanting to keep Dean waiting for too long, she begins upon her newest explanation.*

"Well, this jutsu is similar to a D-Rank Ninjutsu, in that both of these jutsus depend upon some form of string object in order to manipulate the shuriken around the area. If these strings are cut for any reason, with the perfect jutsu for doing so being the Wind Terror jutsu, then the shuriken with fly in the last direction manipulated, but its trajectory cannot be reversed anymore. This leaves the jutsu vulnerable during moments in which the string may be left vulnerable to counterattack. Also, to note is that while directing these strings, especially given the Windmill shuriken are quite a bit larger than the typical shuriken, it becomes difficult to manipulate your chakra in most other ways while also performing this jutsu, thus leaving you potentially vulnerable to a plethora of different swift jutsus, such as the False Spear of Darkness jutsu."

"Now, before I explore the differences between the two jutsus further, I should first explain when and how one should use the Windmill shuriken. Windmill shurikens are large shuriken, the size of an adult shinobi's back, that tend to be used more for cover and distraction than as a literal attack. The reason for this is that these shuriken are larger than the typical shuriken, meaning that they have the capacity of deflecting most projectiles with ease without being forced off its trajectory, as well as having a speed, while less than that of most other projectiles, still relatively swift. Its for this reason that most shinobi would be forced to counter or dodge the shuriken, thus allowing the user to initiating chakra preparation for a swift striking jutsu. There are, however, a few limitations to keep in mind when using a Windmill shuriken. First off, because of its considerable size, only a few can be carried with the user at any time, as having too many will weight down upon the user too considerably for that amount to be worthwhile. Secondly, the size also limits the user's ability to hide or camouflage themselves easily, as the shuriken are bulky enough to still appear regardless of how they are colored, thus still exposing the shinobi's position to the opponent. Lastly, because electrical cable is required for using this jutsu, even the string would be visible to most shinobi, thus making this jutsu more difficult to disguise."

"It's from this point that the most poignant difference can be found. The D-Rank ninjutsu version is more difficult to find, thus possibly tricking the opponent to deflect the shuriken in the normal methodology, hence wasting their time and possibly leaving them with an opening. Meanwhile, because this jutsu uses a thicker cable for utilization, most shinobi will be able to see it, and thus be able to initiate their counterattacks more easily. The biggest flaw of them all, though, is this..."

*Agnes takes a deep breath for dramatic*

"Why would a shinobi carry electrical cable with them? It's not as if most of us are electricians... for that matter, I can barely afford my rent much of the time, much less actual afford a television... so why would I have an electrical cable? Such a silly thing this is."

*Agnes giggles slightly.*

"I guess we shinobi will soon be the electricians of the world, using Raiton to power everyone's television to watch Konoha got talent."

*Agnes smiles as she says this, clearly amused with the absurdity of this jutsu.*

Dean laughs at Agnes' joke as she speaks about the technique, and the problem of the electrical cable. Dean thinks how Iwa has no Televisions, only pubs and weird comedy shows. What an odd place, Dean smirks. This Konoha sounded weird too. Nonetheless, Dean threw the scroll towards Agnes.

"Well done. I would definitely star on Konoha's Got Talent, if I was there. Nonetheless, here you go."

Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user will take out two large shuriken or Windmill Shuriken and channel their raiton chakra into them. They will then throw them at their target to pin them down and maintain a connection with the shuriken through a electrical cable that delivers a numbing shock to paralyse the target and restrict their movements.
Note: Numbing Effect lasts for one turn.

"Now, for the next technique. You'd probably laugh at the simplicity of this technique, however, it is fairly useful. Through manipulation of your Lightning chakra, you will release a current of purplish Lightning from your hands. This is released towards the opponent, which is capable of completely knocking the opponent away. However, this technique can only be used in Short range though. Which sucks z,z."

"Well done. I would definitely star on Konoha's Got Talent, if I was there. Nonetheless, here you go."

*Agnes smiles as she catches the scroll, curious as to what talents Dean could possibly have.*

"You never struck me as the type of person who would enter such a silly thing though, but then again, I hardly know anything at all, now do I?"

*Agnes stretches her hands behind her back, before clasping them within the same position. She gently sways back and forth, almost having too much pent up energy at this point. The reason behind this... she didn't quite know, perhaps the indefatigable training she has done for the last while now is finally beginning to wear her down... but why this energy then...? She would sigh, but she instead pays perhaps too close attention to Dean as he explains the newest jutsu, moving her head slightly closer to Dean unconsciously. She, however, swiftly notices this and readjusts it, blushing slightly for a moment.*

However, this technique can only be used in Short range though. Which sucks z,z.

"I agree with the range issue, but it ultimately makes sense, given the ease of its performance, as well as the purposes behind which this jutsu would be used. This jutsu is easy to use for the reason that it requires no handseals, has no long set-up times, and is merely a release of hotter lightning bolts within a concentrated range. Mind, the heat within these bolts also account for part of why the range is limited, as it requires a far more potent concentration of chakra in order to create. Given that no handseals are utilized in the performance of this jutsu, and hence no larger distribution of chakra occurs with ease, this means that the vast majority of the chakra is released and appears right around the frontal area of your body, most potently around your hands and chest. Hence, as this jutsu moves outward, it loses the vast majority of its power far quicker than a more evenly distributed jutsu would, thus making its range far shorter, than, say, the Wave of Inspiration jutsu, which has the user perform a series of handseals before using it, hence increasing its range drastically."

"There's, however, a more interesting difference between these two jutsus. Because of the intense heat of this jutsu, alongside its short range of use, this jutsu, although an unfocused blast of electricity, cannot really be used in a combination with a Suiton jutsu. In other words, it cannot be used for enhancement. The reasoning behind this is as follows: with the Wave of Inspiration jutsu, not only does it retain a longer range of use, but its power is more evenly distributed, as the handseals used for performance releases more chakra, hence allowing it to retain an evenly distributed power. Thus, it melds into the Suiton jutsu easier, hence allowing it to make that jutsu electrified. Now, because of the intense heat behind this jutsu, weaker Suiton jutsus may very well melt, or at least weaken, when nearby this jutsu, hence making it impossible to use in amalgamation with those jutsus. With most stronger Suiton jutsus, they either require too much focus, or are sent too far away, hence making this jutsu useless for that purpose as well. This leads to the question, of what use is this jutsu."

*Agnes then begins to pace back and forth, as she is wont to do.*

"Well, from here it helps to compare this jutsu to one other jutsu, the Raging Thunder jutsu. The Raging Thunder jutsu is a focused offensive Raiton jutsu that creates a half dome that pushes any opponent away from yourself, yet also has the capability of staying within a spot as a pseudo-defensive wall. Very versatile, yet also has this limiting short range. Now, this jutsu, because of the large frontal burst chakra released at its initial release, can be used for this same purpose. However, because of its heat, it's hard to exploit its unfocused nature towards punishing a shinobi using a Suiton streaming jutsu without making the jutsu either hit you or dissipating the jutsu itself. Something worth remembering is that most streaming jutsus are stronger at the point of initiation than the point at which it would hit the opponent, thus allowing this jutsu to at least weaken the stream itself... or so I think..."

*Agnes blushes slightly, did she make another error... she sighs before finishing up her explanation.*

"I suppose it's best to say that one should use another jutsu rather than this one, as it holds too many flaws for it to be easy to use for most purposes, regardless of how easy it is to perform. Sometimes, a little preparation can go a long way after all. Now, I have a question for you Dean-sensei, what talents do you have?"

*She giggles as she says this, she is not going to stop it now. She then realizes why she's energetic... she's becoming a bit competitive.*

"You know nuthin' Agnes!"

Dean says jokingly, as he remembers his favourite line from a great show he used to watch. He listens to Agnes' explanation, which was as great as usual, and he simply smiled. Only she would be capable of getting so much information from a simple technique. Dean listened to the end, where he hears Agnes asking him something he thought he would never hear.

"I have a multitude of talents.. I am afraid you are too young to understand them U_U. Great work with the technique though, its a nice technique to use when in close range, like when your opponent tries a Taijutsu attack or so. Here you go."

Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user releases a current of purplish lightning from their hands forward, damaging and knocking away enemies. The range of this technique is, however, limited.

"Anyway, the next technique starts off as follows. You will manipulate your Lightning based chakra in order to form a Lightning barrier around yourself. This barrier stays around you, and is capable of defending against wide ranged techniques. However, you are limited to using Lightning and Taijutsu based techniques whilst the barrier is active. Once can also release a wave of Lightning towards the opponent, which uses up the Lightning of the barrier, and deactivates it. A pretty cool technique, but leaves you very susceptible to Water based techniques."

"I have a multitude of talents.. I am afraid you are too young to understand them."

*Agnes shudders slightly as Dean says this.*

Ohhhhhhhhh, he's actually a pervert, I knew it, this just happened. What to dooooooooooo, oh what to doooooooo. Um, erm... wait, I have an idea... oh yes, I have an idea... no wait, I actually don't have one... but maybe I do...

*Agnes begins to twiddle her thumbs slightly, unconsciously shuddering periodically as Dean continues his explanation.*

{Simultaneously}

But... no, I really don't have one... ehhhhhhhh, I don't like this, but he hasn't try to hit on me yet, so I'm safe. Yes, I am safe. Whew, now about this jutsu... another wall type jutsu, similar to the Water Encampment Wall Guv taught me some time ago, except it utilizes Raiton instead of Suiton. Alright seems easy enough.

*Agnes then smiles, clasping her hands behind her lower back.*

"Well, o' talented Dean, this jutsu is pretty much a Raiton variant of the Water Encampment Wall jutsu, in that each jutsu surrounds the user within an elemental wall that perfectly encompasses their surroundings. This sort of defense is excellent towards defending against omni-directional attacks, but both are quite poor at defending against attacks that strike the user from below, although since most jutsus capable of doing this are of the Doton variety, Raiton's strength against that element end up helping against most of such jutsus nonetheless. However, there are a plethora of differences between the two jutsus, and it's from the defensive capabilities where the differences begin to shine. The Encampment Wall jutsu doesn't cover the area above your head unfortunately, leaving that area to be a crucial point upon which the opponent may launch attacks, leaving the user to either eliminate and move out of the wall, or to cover the area above their head, leaving their surroundings to, again, be vulnerable. This jutsu, meanwhile, forms a more concise barrier around the user, thus leaving the area above their head also covered, hence eliminating this vulnerability. Also of note is that the Water Encampment Wall jutsu requires a total of five handseals and then either the manipulation of a pre-existing water source or jutsu streaming in order to create the wall of water, meanwhile, this jutsu merely requires the user to release the chakra from their body in order to create the barrier. Thus, it has a lower barrier of utilization and swifter usages than the Encampment Wall, even if it's slightly weaker."

"A critical weakness of this jutsu, and one of the greatest strengths behind the Encampment Wall, is that the user, while under the effects of this jutsu, is only capable of utilizing basic Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, and Raiton, while the Encampment Wall bears no such burdens. The reasoning behind this is that while the user continues to utilize the barrier, a small, but continual, stream of Raiton chakra is needed to continually fuel the jutsu. However, because of the smaller amount needed, the user, if particularly skilled, can divert some of the chakra towards other usages, as long as the jutsu is of the same type as the chakra being exerted, that is, of the Raiton sort. The Encampment wall, meanwhile, is created after a few moments of streaming water from the user's breath, hence doesn't need any continual chakra insertion into the jutsu. While this does leave the user free towards utilizing other jutsus, this also makes the wall less permanent than this jutsu, which seems to last for several minutes before the user wears out {three turns}."

"Each of the jutsus actually possesses a method to re-utilize the jutsu as an offensive mechanism. This jutsu's offensive usage is more direct. One merely releases the stream of chakra with the final burst of it, thus sending the barrier as a wave of electricity towards the opponent, kind of generic to be honest. The encampment wall, meanwhile, may potentially allow the user to actually utilize the jutsu as a water source for other jutsus, although I may be mistaken about this... nonetheless, you can easily leave the jutsu as needed, thus it doesn't need the purposeful movement, the releasing of the chakra, in order to move from the jutsu, hence being a slight bit more fluid within a fight, given that you don't need to perform all the handseals to perform it of course. Lastly, it's pretty funny that you mention that this jutsu leaves the user vulnerable to Suiton jutsus o' talented Dean..."

{simultaneously}

I got him good with this :3

"...because the Encampment Wall jutsu can potentially leave the user vulnerable to Raiton jutsus, although, to be fair, there's a larger gap between the user and the jutsu in the Encampment Wall jutsu than between the user and the jutsu in this jutsu."

*Agnes takes a swift breath before continuing.*

"Now, if there's one jutsu that this one mostly outdoes, it's the Lightning Strike Armor jutsu. That jutsu, although brief, which does actually have it's advantages at times, also only lasts for one jutsu, meaning that one must have an immediate counter or alternative in mind or else get lost within the struggle so to say. This jutsu, though, lasts quite a bit longer and has more durability than the Strike Armor, which also has its moments. For examples, one can take a more offensive and direct approach within a Taijutsu situation, charging towards the opponent, and forcing them into a defensive stance. After that, you release this jutsu, hence forcing them to defend against it, thus not only dodging this jutsu's weaknesses, but also using it in both defensive and offensive usages, thus allowing it to both be versatile as well as fluid within a fight. However, it's important to note that the opponent can still stun you with a lower-level Suiton jutsu, and thus one must still be cautious in using this jutsu. This can be said for both jutsus however. I digress though... ahem, the Strike Armor jutsu, meanwhile, is better for counterattacking, as the shock within that jutsu is more potent, as well as slightly easier to perform, and lastly doesn't retain the critical weakness of losing the ability to utilize all possibly elements and jutsus the user may know. Thus, while each jutsu has its usages and situations in which either are more appropriate, I'm of the opinion that this jutsu is slightly better than the other... although I'm aware that I kinda... over-hyped this jutsu a bit... my apologies about that."

*Agnes does a slight bow before continuing.*

"I have one quick question o' talented Dean, um, does this jutsu allow one to release themselves from a genjutsu using a full chakra surge? In other words, does this jutsu qualify as a full-chakra surge variant?"

*Agnes breaths again, this one, this explanation seemingly took the cake of all of them...*

I probably ought to stop with the o' talented Dean phrase, you foolish girl. Makes you seem immature... not that you haven't proven that already.

Her explanations getting longer and longer, Dean started to wonder if Agnes had fully recovered, or was she perhaps hyped that they were finishing off with Lightning soon? Dean wasn't sure, but he wasn't going to ask her either. He didn't want to make her uncomfortable, as it seems his comment about his "talents" stuck with here too. Dean simply smiled as he listened to her, she explained everything in detail, and even compared it to another technique. This was one of Dean's favourite techniques though, because it had more than one use, and could actually be used in other ways too, if you are willing to take risks and try what no one else has before. With a quick flick, Dean threw the scroll towards Agnes, who also asked him a question in the mean time.

"I don't believe it acts as a full body surge, as a full body surge is a technique where the user releases a large amount of chakra from all his tenketsu, or a lot of them, whilst this technique, you basically just create a barrier around you. Other than that, wonderful analysis as always, Agnes. Here is the technique."

Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20 (-5 per turn active)
Damage points: 40
Description: The user manipulating their chakra generates a plasma barrier around them to serve as a defence which protects them from incoming attacks, even from something as wide-ranged as the Quicksand Waterfall Flow. However the user cannot use other techniques besides lightning release or physical based techniques while sustaining the technique. The user can rush at their opponents even if the barrier is active and use it to ram against them. The shield can be used offensively, by discharging the electricity in the direction of their choice in a wave resulting in using the energy of the barrier and ending its effects.
Note: Technique remains active for 3 turns.

"Now the next technique is quite simple to perform, and fairly useful in terms of battle usage. You will start off by manipulating your Lightning based chakra, and condensing it into an orb using shape manipulation. Once you have done so, you will launch this orb into the air above the opponent, and after a few moments, the orb of Lightning will release a rain of continuous Lightning bolts which would shock the opponent. This technique is a bit risky, as the Lightning could strike you and make sure that there isn't any water beneath you, as the Lightning could easily conduct through it. The orb could be launched towards Mid range, and has a range of short range around it when the Lightning rains down. Pretty useful."

*Agnes notices the few moments of Dean frowning before smiling again, almost as if he's merely doing that out of obligation of kindness.*

Yep, it's time to stop with the o' talented Dean phrase.

*Agnes sighs as she catches the scroll, listening towards the instructions and advice with the newest jutsu. Seems similar to a jutsu she once thought of, a lightning ball capable of zapping objects and individuals below it, seems as if someone thought of it first ages ago. But that doesn't surprise her, as it seems to be useful for offensive purposes...*

"Well, this jutsu is a bit more self-explanatory than many of the others, and has really no similar jutsus to this one, so this will hopefully be a shorter explanation. This jutsu is a two-step jutsu, the first creating a ball of lightning from focused Raiton chakra, funneling the chakra up into the palms of your hands. The second step then involves the sending of the Raiton ball above your opponent, which will then descend down bolts of lightning onto your opponent and yourself as well if you're underneath it. Thus, the main offensive function of this jutsu is to prevent forward movement of your opponent, as they would be stopped and paralyzed by the bolts of lightning. Otherwise... this jutsu suffers because of the two-steps required to perform it. Thus, even the slowest moving jutsus, such as those of the Doton element, would strike you before the successful performance of this jutsu. Therefore, other jutsus such as the False Darkness Spear would be better for immediate counter-attacks, while jutsus such as the Raging Thunder or the Lightning Release Wall would be far better defensive jutsus to use. This jutsu, unfortunately, is mostly limited to offensive maneuvers. On the bright side, one can use this jutsu to exploit the weaknesses of certain potent defensive jutsus such as the Water Encampment Wall jutsu, where the exploit is that these jutsus lack a defense for the area above the user's head. Thus, this jutsu is capable of punishing any shinobi using those jutsus, given that the user of this jutsu can perform it quick enough of course. One can always perform it in advance to limit the opponent's defensive choices... but that's ultimately up to individual preference."

*Agnes then smiles, her hands down by her sides.*

I think it's safe to say that Dean may like this more... perhaps less is more if it means that the sensei can keep their sanity a bit...

She easily covered the technique once more, and allowed them to move forward. He nodded his head, as she explained and simply smiled. They were on the verge of finishing B ranks, and head on to the A ranks, which were one of his favorite ones.

"Very good Agnes, here you go."

Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user manipulates their lightning chakra condensing into a orb of chakra and then releasing it into the air. The lightning orb will then remain in the air for several seconds releasing a continous rain of lightning bolts shocking any enemy within the radius of the attack.
Note: Lasts only the turn in which its used.

"Now for the very first A rank technique, you will start off by forming the Monkey → Ox → Boar → Tiger hand seals. You will then manipulate your Lightning based chakra and discharge Lightning from your hands, which forms into several disks of Lightning as it makes its way towards the opponent. Pretty simple projectile based technique, which has its pros and cons."

*Agnes nods before rushing into her explanation, Dean just barely finishing his own.*

"This jutsu seems like a pretty simple jutsu truth be told as the end result of this jutsu is just the creation of lightning disks. Two things need to be noted though in regards to performing this jutsu. The first thing is that the four handseals required to perform this jutsu ultimately make this slower than most projectile type jutsus, however, the trade-off is both the speed of the projectiles themselves, capable of causing massive cutting damage, possibly fatal for that matter, and the general strength of the projectiles, requiring stronger jutsus to counter mere projectiles, which can be used to bait opponents into utilizing more resources towards what's still ultimately a distractory jutsu. The second thing is that until the last disc leaves the creation area, given that the initial jutsu is just a stronger discharge within the immediate area in front of the user, continual chakra funneling is needed, as the discs themselves depend upon a flood of chakra to create them. Thus, this makes this jutsu harder to use for distractory purposes, as most cases of distraction merely needs a simple kunai or shuriken to draw the opponent's distraction towards a selected point. However, this is a decent choice for a Raiton specialist if they're either expecting or baiting a stronger than average response, so that's a decent point to keep in mind. Otherwise, this is a simple disc-projectile jutsu used for mostly offensive purposes. Nothing much really, but still decent nevertheless. However, I have two questions Dean-sensei."

Ohhhh, it's hard to resist the o' talented Dean phrase, must bite my tongue.

"This first question is what agency does the user have over the projectiles? In other words, what are limits of controlling this jutsu? The second question is I have read before that these projectiles supposedly have a homing capability, is this true?

OOC: I'm just clarifying my suspicions with the second question, given that the jutsu's text in this RP lacks the homing text within it. However, it's in the text for the Wikia description of the jutsu, so I feel as if clarifying this is the proper approach here.

This time round, she had a few questions, which wasn't rare, for her at least. Dean was always eager to answer questions, since it was his job as a teacher to do so. Nonetheless, he simply clears his throat as he answers.

"Its a projectile based technique, which means, once the projectiles leave the user, you will have no control over them. This is a characteristic usually associated with projectiles, unless specified otherwise. As for the homing capabilities, it does not have it. Here you go."

Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: After performing the required hand seals Monkey → Ox → Boar → Tiger the user releases a discharge of electricity that shapes itself into several destructive disks of lightning. These are shot at the targets with great speed.

"Now for the next technique, a famous one, you will form the Ox → Rabbit → Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox → Snake → Dog → Tiger → Monkey hand seals and concentrate a large amount of Lightning based chakra to your dominant hand's palm. The Lightning is so concentrated, that it starts chriping like a Bird. This Lightning can then cause a large amount of piercing damage, as you thrust with your dominant hand."

*All Agnes needed to hear from Dean was the handseals and the chirping sound effect... is this it? Is this the fabled Chidori, the One Thousand Birds jutsu? Agnes begins to bear a childish smile, barely able to hold in her glee... but she isn't able to resist its allure.*

"Uuuuuuu, this is the Chidori, the One Thousand Birds jutsu! Yes, for all Kakashi roleplayers this is it, the bona-fide jutsu that even the hacks need to know, much less the professionals of the world! One needs to just perform the handseals and then gather just the right amount of chakra, too little, and the effect doesn't really occur, too much and then your hand blows up! No, no one wants their hand to blow up, thus care..."

*Agnes then comes to a realization, she's still training with a sensei, one whom has trained countless individuals, one whom has possibly saved her life already, and here she is, goofing off like an inconsiderate little girl, exaggerating about a hand blowing off. A severe blush begins to cover her face, how much more will she make a fool of herself?*

Thank the goddess that Dean is seemingly stoic over my fatuity. This has occurred so much now but... he only laughs as a reaction to it all. He never once did show perturbance at my behavior... he truly is tolerant of it all.

*She then sighs before recomposing herself, patting down her knees slightly before standing straight again, taking a few deep breaths before bearing a slight, but sweet smile, at Dean.*

"My deepest apologies about that, as you know by now, sometimes my mouth goes faster than my brain. I thank you for tolerating it so well though, I imagine that many other people would have... less tolerance towards such juvenile behavior, especially in a training session talking about such dangerous jutsus such as the Levitating Swords jutsus or the Chidori. But perhaps I ought to truly begin instead of wasting too much time apologizing... yes, that would be preferable for both of us."

*She then begins to sway her arms back and forth slightly as she truly begins her explanation, hopefully without over-expressive madness this time.*

"Within the chaotic explanation earlier, I mentioned that this jutsu can be dangerous, although I exaggerated this, but only somewhat. Any competent shinobi who has gone this far into the field of Raiton jutsus can easily control the chakra required to perform this jutsu, yet, there are numerous situations in which this jutsu can end up being dangerous. A classical example of which I read before is the incident that occurred when a shinobi by the name of Sasuke Uchiha performed this again Gaara. He managed to penetrate Gaara's sand shield, and yet, Gaara managed to grab his arm for a short time, damaging it considerably. Thus, it's important to remember that the Chidori itself doesn't make the effected arm immune from damage, especially if a Fuuton jutsu is aimed at the arm. The thing to remember is that this jutsu needs to directly pierce the opponent in order to deliver extremely potent damage, thus leaving considerable area towards which this jutsu can be countered. Thus, although potent, one needs to remember that, on top of the long handseal chain as well as the running time required to truly achieve the full power of this jutsu, this jutsu is used only in extremely close-range battles. Thus, although powerful, this jutsu on its own isn't enough to be truly useful most of the time."

"I have a quick question though, I heard that Sasuke needed a running start in order to perform the jutsu in that battle, does that qualify for every usage of the Chidori?"

*Agnes then breathes audibly before smiling brightly at Dean. She has it out of her system now... for now.*

Agnes analysed the technique with great precision as usual, though she was quite happy about this technique. It was the Chidori after all, a technique of legend and fame. Though Dean was quite eager to see her reaction to Kirin once they reached it. Nonetheless, she quickly covered the technique, and even had a question.

"Not necessarily. Once one has mastered Lightning release, with the Ox hand seal, one is capable of performing the Chidori. This lessens the time needed to perform it, and even allows you to perform it in close range. So not always. Here you go."

Rank: A
Type: Offense
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user must first perform the following sequence of hand seals Ox → Rabbit → Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox → Snake → Dog → Tiger → Monkey and they will then focus lightning chakra into their hand to create a lightning jutsu that is concentrated in the user's palm and thrusted toward the opponent at high speed. The lightning in the user's palm sounds like birds chirping, hence the name, and allows the user to perform high grade cutting damage or high penetration piercing thrusts.
Note: Someone who mastered lightning release can perform chidori with just the Ox hand seal.
Note: Uchiha Sasuke and Kakashi Hatake bios can use the technique without handseals

"Now, the next is a variation of the Chidori, where you will release Lightning from your body in an unfocused form. This can be released in an omni-directional manner, or channeled through weapons, the ground or anything else that conducts electricity. Because it is unfocused, it does not kill but rather, paralyses and cause a numb feeling. If you choose to channel it through a medium, the lightning will be focused towards your hands, and then placed on said medium. If chosen as an omni-directional attack, it is simply released from your body. Only one of the two usages can be achieved at a time. Nagashi is capable of destroying lower ranked earth techniques and stopping the formation of higher ranked ones. Its also fairly useful against those pesky opponents who want to get into close range with Taijutsu."

"This jutsu is more complicated than most I have covered thus far within this field, not out of intricate performances or convoluted methodologies, but rather varied and complicated usages. This jutsu is known as a full-body surge, meaning that a shinobi can utilize this jutsu in order to escape out of genjutsu. Because the Nagashi is an A-Rank jutsu, that means that it can eliminate up to B-Rank genjutsus from your being. On top of that, this is an excellent omni-directional defense against most Doton jutsus, Taijutsu, and countless other jutsus. Note, though, that this is merely unfocused chakra, meaning that more fine-tuned attacks may still hold a bit of their potency as they travel through this, but for the most part this is incredibly efficient as a defensive jutsu. As an offensive manuever, though, it's quite a bit poorer. You can use this to rush an opponent, yes, but they already need to be within the range of this jutsu, by which time most opponents would have prepared a defensive jutsu of their own, thus making it quite a bit more difficult to move past them. Also, this jutsu only paralyzes them and numbs them, thus serving as a poor choice for pure offensive power. Finally, Raiton specialists are immune to the paralysis power of this jutsu, hence being able to mostly thwart this jutsu. Thus, this jutsu is better for defense than offense I'm afraid."

"However, I'm left with more questions than answers in regards to this jutsu... so this may last a bit I'm afraid Dean-sensei. For starters, as soon as this is funneled through another medium, does it become focused, as most of the chakra is now within a more confined storage? Or does it retain its unfocused characteristics, meaning it more stuns the opponent rather than cuts them? To put into a comparison, does the, say, Kunai that I stored the Nagashi into take up the characteristics of the Super Vibrating Sword, or the general Nagashi? Further, does the Raiton specialty paralysis immunity only pertain to this jutsu, or all Raiton jutsus? Finally, are there any Chidori-variant jutsus that require the user to literally form a chidori first before using it {OOC: in other words, would require me to first post a chidori jutsu then the jutsu that requires it, thus taking up two of my jutsu slots}?

"It doesn't become more focused, the unfocused characteristics stay. It only pertains to this technique, and although Chidori is formed first, it does not take two slots (only Kirin does this), unless stated otherwise. Great job with the analysis, here you go."

Rank: A
Type: Offense/Defence
Range: Short (Mid if channeled through a medium)
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A (+10 if used to boost weapon damage)
Description: This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electricity from their body. It can be used as an omnidirectional attack or be channeled through weapons, the ground or other conductive mediums. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it has great numbing and paralyzing effects. To channel Nagashi through a medium, the user needs to focus the technique into one of his hands which will then be put in contact with the medium and can only choose to either do a widespread attack throughout his whole body or to channel it into something; he cannot achieve both usages at the same time. Despite not having much destructive or damaging properties, Nagashi can be used to destroy low rank earthen and wooden structures and even negate chakra on the ground to stop high ranked earth and wood techniques. It has also been noted that Lightning Specialists that have mastered Lightning to the highest degree can resist total paralyzation, although they still feel the pain and numbing effects.
Note: Paralyzation lasts 1 turn if sucessful but is ineffective against bios who have a primary Lightning Specialty

"Now for the next technique, you will form three hand seals and manipulate your Lightning based chakra. You will then place your hand on the ground, and send an enormous bolt of electricity to blast through the ground towards the opponent. The shape of the bolt is triangular, with the base towards you, and the tip heading towards the opponent. As it makes its way there, it destroys everything it comes into contact with (following strengths and weaknesses of course)."

"This jutsu is essentially a high-scale, very powerful version of numerous streaming Raiton jutsus. As per usual, the handseals help to unlock the needed chakra for this jutsu, then the user concentrates some chakra into their hand of choice before slamming it onto the ground. This releases the chakra from your hand into the ground, which begins to form a highly concentrated base, mostly underground. Lastly, as the user continues to funnel chakra into the ground, the concentrate base begins to expand outward, thus sending a considerably large bolt of lightning charging towards the opponent, destroying all in its path, or at least until the user lifts their hand, hence ending the stream. At first, the bolt of lightning is both wide and high, but both measurements diminish as it ends towards mid-range, until only a smaller bolt remains as it reaches towards the furthest portion of this range. Hence, this jutsu is strongest short-range, and lesser so alongside the short-mid border, and considerably less strong mid-range, something worth remembering."

"Now, Dean-sensei, there merit many things worth remembering even within this simple performance explanation. The first thing worth mentioning is that the user needs to place their hand onto the ground in order to perform this jutsu, which may lead numerous opponents to confuse this for preparation for a Doton jutsu, which is compounded by the fact that most of the jutsu before it's released is hidden underground. Hence, one can take this towards manipulating the opponent's response towards using a Raiton jutsu, rather than a Fuuton jutsu. However, it's also worth remembering that a sensory, Hyuuga, or Uchiha can see chakra independently from normal vision restrictions, and thus won't be fooled by this."

"A second thing worth mentioning from this is that the scale of this jutsu limits the user in several senses. The usual sense is that this jutsu is another example of a streaming jutsu, hence requiring a continual flood of chakra, thus limiting the user's ability to prepare other jutsus, and in this case, move in general, as the user's hand needs to be touching the ground in order to funnel the chakra towards the opponent. However, another sense in which this jutsu limits the user is visually. This jutsu has enough scale as to limit the user's vision, as the jutsu is both bright and large enough to obscure the opponent's activities, making this jutsu a risk."

OOC: Am I correct in the assessment that this jutsu ultimately sprouts upwards into a pyramid type form? Or is it mostly a flat triangle that expands inward from the base, meaning it doesn't lift up much from the ground?

"The latter, I always considered it as a flat triangle, which expands inwards, from its base, with the tip heading towards the opponent. Its runs across the ground towards the opponent, flat as it does so. Here you go."

Rank: A
Type: Attack
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: After performing a small sequence of 3 hand seals the user will place their hand on the ground converting their chakra in to lightning. The user then sends an enormous bolt of electricity that cuts through the ground in the direction of the enemy. The shape of the bolt is a triangular with the base in the direction of the user and the tip headed towards the target. It causes devastating destruction on its way and generates enough heat and power to destroy whatever it comes into contact with.

"Now, the next technique is a variation of Chidori. You will start off by forming the Chidori in your dominant hand, and then using shape manipulation to change the focused Lightning into countless senbon of Lightning. These are fired towards the opponent with simple hand movements, which makes it extremely difficult to dodge in close range. The effects of the Chidori senbon are the same as Chidori, which are basically paralysis."
