Ages explained, Kakashi, Obito, Rin, Gai and others

And @ those with a similar question.

Not all classmates have the same age.
Kakashi was 5 in the graduation class, where Obito and Rin where 9.
Meaning Kakashi just did it the whole thing faster.
When Kakashi graduated at 5, his classmates Obito and Rin where 9, graduated as well and took the chunin exam together.

I am no copy cat. You can find databook info on many places on the net. I cant make them up though, so I have to get the data from internet or the books themselfs. The wiki even has some stuff wrong, like Kakashi becomming a jounin at 13, which is not correct(as I explain in this thread, so I didnt copy, otherwise I would have copied that too). Obito died around that age (not really died, but was assumed dead), that makes kakashi ~10 at best as jounin.

I agree that the ages feel a bit weird.
Like in the war at 9-10 as a jounin and such, but this is just what the data says.
I am not Kishi . Becomming a chunin at 6 seems way to extreme in my book.

You are incorrect, Obito, Rin and Kakashi didn't graduate from the Academy at the same time.

Here's another way to get Kakashi's age. Itachi was 4 years old when he saw countless people die during the Third Shinobi War. Itachi was 17 in Part 1, which means 13 years had passed since he was 4.
Itachi was 5 when the Nine Tails Attacked, which means one year since the end of the War. Kakashi was 26 in Part 1, 12 years beforehand he was 14, exactly one year since Obito's death. From this you get 13, you also get 13 from subtracting his age by 13 years from 26.
Are you trying to say a 9 year old girl had a crush on a 5 year old boy? Or a 11 Year old girl had a crush on and was in love with a 6\7 year old boy? :erm:
Your ages are invalid.
They were the same age. Kakashi just graduated earlier and became Chunnin earlier. Only thing that disapproves this is the Chunnin Exams, in which they were all in, but they all looked the same age.
If you wish to say that he was 10 at the end of the War, then that means the number of years to subtract from 26 is 16, which is invalid because therefore Itachi would only be exactly a year old. :dunno: Also that means the Nine Tails attack happened 4 years after the War, which is also incorrect.
There has never ever been a team where the team-mates are not the same age.
