She sees the man sitting beside her once again, but everything else, the sky, the water, the beach, only resembles

Upon looking away from the man Emily realized that the scenery had changed.

The Black nothingness above was now replaced with a blood red sky and beneath them laid the bones of thousands upon thousands. This wasn't an illusion it was real.)
