[Discussion] After twelve years it has ended.

its really cool. there's a 52 ep anime about it, but the anime doesn't go to the end... it just ends.. lol.. the anime is cool, but not as cool as the manga..

NO! when i said "i think so, yes" what i meant is YES that i PERSONALLY do.. i was just trying not to shove it in anyone's face like "yeah dude u must read it no matter what" LoL i'm just saying that Yes, i PERSONALLY think it's MORE than worth it

Truth is i wasn't tyring to advertise to those who haven't read, i wanted to talk to those who HAVE..

BUT yes man, for ANYONE who has NOT read it, i HIGHLY recommend it.. i'm sure it's not to everyone's taste, as no manga is, but it's awesome

careful tho, cuz there's two of them.. one only lasted like 27 chapters or so, and it's worth a read cuz its cool, but then it got shut down and re-vamped, and it's awesome. it's just kinda cool to see the direction the author first went, then how he changed it.. it's really cool either way


the final chapter came out like today or yesterday, hence the thread

i am.. that doesnt have much to do with the manga lol but yes, u saw the Eigo Sensei.. yes i teach english..

i taught high school english for a few years, but now im almost exclusively teaching ESL, for whatever it's worth

It was one of my first mangas I picked up. I loved the earlier chapters b4 the extreme fan service, (Yomi arc is #1) but it was still nice I guess. The last arc had a few too many twists for my tastes though and the ending seemed like most about relationships. I mean its a martial arts manga for crying out loud. I really would have liked to see how strong Kenichi got as an adult. Anyway, it was a memorable series that I really am gonna miss.

after 12 years, the manga has come to a close.. it ended kinda suddenly, with one chapter summing up the end, BUT i loved everything up til now and i suppose i'm satisfied with the end.

has anyone else read it? if you have, any comments?

i'll be SUPER dissappointed if no one.. or less that at least 50 people out of a supposed 100,000 on the base, have not read this manga..

sure, plenty of things were left undisclosed.. like some pairings, like who became masters.. stuff like that.. but man.. all the way through, this manga was awesome..

It ended already? last I read which I think was chp 400-ish, may be wrong on number but it's when Shigure was captured and the elder was stuck in battle, it seemed still in the middle. How many chaps did it end with?

584 chapters in total. Shigure got captured in like chapter 550ish.
