B. And yet Gaara could block 4 V3 susanoo swords from Madara with his gourd's sand. Imagine what he can do with, say, the same amount of sand he used against Kimmimaro and Deidera.

It's filler.

The anime team is very bad at portraying the power of characters.

All of a sudden Gaara, Neji, Lee, and others look weaker than their early part 1 self, its ridiculous.

A random filler character can all of a sudden tank Neji's 64 palms with his bare arms, 1 block, no impact or push back or anything, its like Neji's ultimate attack is something you and I can do.

and for some reason quicksand is something so dangerous now, lol wtf even I can get out of that stuff no probs.

Everyone looks so nerfed, its like I'm not even watching Naruto, the fillers are so inconsistent.

Funny thing is in a few weeks time when we go back to canon we will go back to the mountain busting feats and extreme speeds, and very soon Madara will become a Juubi Jin and start throwing mountain-range sized meteors while the super powered up naruto and Sasuke bust them and cut them up like water balloons and butter. smh.

Gaara still had advantage of the terrain.

Gaara is a fodder Kage just like suna is the weakest village.

The fact Suna needs a 15 years old boy to be the KazeKage.

The manga is the original source material, so yes of course it shows the character as they are and their feats as they should be.

In some VERY rare occasions it does give the manga justice though I admit, but those are very seldom, like the episode when Madara first entered the war and his fight vs the Kage, but then a few episodes later they go back to their usual shit.

That's the problem with very long ongoing anime, you have so many different animators working on it at different times and the budgets fluctuate up and down so you won't have the same quality of animation and character portrayal through out the series.

Seasonal 12-24 episode animes how ever always do an excellent and consistent job at animation and portrayal with fast paced fighting, but at the expense of skipping some parts and compressing the overall story.

But honestly I would rather watch a short, fast paced, and well animated Naruto series, then this badly animated and super slow paced dung we are getting littered with fillers far too often.

If you want to see a good portrayal of character powers then look at this:

Skip to 16:00 to see how Neji should be like, instead of the loser we saw in the last episode, Rock Lee is featured right after, watch that too, also much better than his shitty portrayal in the last episode.

even young Neji at 31:54 is infinitely more impressive than anime Neji.

For hells sake, if VS threads used Anime, they would make alot more sense.

No, I am not talking about story, I am talking about feats, action, moves, choreography, its absolute shit in the anime -apart from a few episodes here and there like I mentioned- and level of shit is amplified by 100 in fillers.

Yea this episode disgraced Gaara, but not nearly as much as Neji.

You are not getting the point here, imagine the anime decides to make another filler and introduce a new character called Josh, we see Josh crushing walnuts with his bare hands wow right?

Josh then confronts Juubi Jin Madara. Madara uses perfect Susanoo which is shown to be around 4 times own height, this midget PS of JJ Madara starts slashing at Josh, but Josh just stands there with his arms crossed in front of his face and takes the PS slashes like a boss, of course there is no AoE or any kind of impact from Madara's attacks.

Madara then uses Chibaku Tensei and starts dropping pea sized rocks at Josh's 2 crossed arms, Josh tanks like a boss.

The fans then start complaining that this filler isn't portraying the characters right as JJ Madara should be much stronger and step on Josh like an ant, but then a fan called Sam says "what are you guys talking about Josh is f*cking beast!" :|

You see what I mean? You are being like Sam. :|

Now if I slightly change this filler scenario, and we see Josh leveling entire mountain ranges with his bare fists, moving at relativistic speeds, and tanking Bijuu dama's like they are nothing, then we see an epic encounter with JJ Madara with both characters showing godly feats, it would be more acceptable for the fans.
