Yeah its only normal for fighting to develop to that level towards the end.

Kage summit arc wasn't bad. It would just be a bad point to end the show. Pain arc would've been a perfect cliff hanger. But I started hating the manga after Obito became the SO6P.. It turned into DBZ

IMO the war has been the best arc in Naruto
People say it got bad because of some of the arcs that follow up, which I dont mind; The Kage Summit arc and the Naruto Kyubi Trainning arcs and the beginning of the war was kind of a let down (Edo Akatsuki showing minimum of their potentials) compared to Pain and the Itahi search arcs

^This guy knows what he's talking about. Sai fodderized Sasori and Deidara at one strike? Wtf man? Worse, Choji soloed Kakuzu off-panel and we didn't even get to see much of the 7 Swordsmen of the Mist. So many edos were trolled.

No I was talking about the Pain Invasion Arc and everyone being revived as if nothing happened.

It didn't immediately decline, it's been gradual for me. Kage summit was alright except the villian reveals his ENTIRE plan... Sasuke and Danzo fight was ok; the Izanagi was annoying. Too much wank for Uchiha+Senju (for Danzo) there. Truth waterfall thingo was meh, Naruto TnJ'd himself. Kurama battle was pretty good. Seeing Kushina was nice. Flaashback was between boring and good. After that it was boring having Bee and Naruto jerk around before breaking out. The was with a bunch of Zetsu was meh. Edo's good some great. Itachi and Sasuke vs Kabuto was good and than there is Izanagi; more uchiha power wank for a TnJ. Naruto, Kakashi and Gai vs Tobi and paths was good. Edo Madara good. reveal Obito good. flashbacks - meh, Gokage vs Madara: good but we got gypped I feel. None of the Gokage died not so well.. Alliance no Jutsu (Great the power of friendship!) Neji died was alright if a little rushed. Edo Kage and Mada flashback was good. They arrive a little boring but alright. Juubito after Kakashi and Obito fight alright. Juubi is a tree - lame. "That attack even Edo's won't come back!" Next minute Hiruzen has a new head... some skipping.. Friendship no Jutsu... not good. Everyone get's Naruto's cloak.. lame. Madara revival - good. It's since gone down hill.

A lot of people say 'oh part 2 was great until after the pain invasion arc, then it goes to shit'

So can someone tell me what they dont like about the kage summit?

Kage summit was great for me. I do however have a few issues with the war arc. I disliked how short several of the fights were, the lack of K11 development, the seven swordsmen being off-paneled when I believed they would be as formidable as the edo kages and pivotal to the plot. The Gin and Kin brothers being underpowered, Hanzo being defeated by Mifune, no taka involvement, Sasuke being out of action for a really long time, etc. It became great with the edo madara, obito and kabuto fights thankfully.
