After Hagoromo died, why didn't Hamura become the jinchuuriki? or did he know the Juubi was his mother unlike Hagoromo

no it didnt shorten his life. also Hamura has the Six Paths Senjutsu. I think he became jinchuuriki at some point.

Hagoromo died because he split up the juubi. Hamura wouldn't need to become Juubi Jin.

It must've been resealed. Remember they both used the Six Paths Chibaku Seal together to seal the Juubi, which creates the moon. However, Hagoromo ended up being its Jinchuuriki. Doesn't it seem odd?

didn't kurama confirm that Hagoromo had the Gedo mazo when he explained why obito was still alive after having the Bijuu chakra removed.

He summoned it back and sealed it in himself to keep himself living long enough to speak to the tailed beast. Unless you have another explanation?

Didn't they actually seal the whole thing inside him? Then on his deathbed he split
the chakra into the bijuu and turned the statue to the moon (with his brothers help in the scan)

TBH the story has too many inconsistencies

I figured that all the seals do is seal Kaguya's power.

My guess are these two things:

1. After Naruto and Sasuke sealed Kaguya's power,Hagoromo himself used CT while seperating the Bijuu from her body.

2. When Hagoromo and Hamura fought Kaguya, the sealed her power away with the Sun and Moon seals but instead of seperating the Bijuu from her body and casting her empty vessel away, they sealed her Juubi self inside Hagoromo instead. (Only deciding to seperate her power into 9 beasts after some time had past) This time, Hagoromo chose to seperate her power and cast the Gedo away after Naruto and Sasuke sealed her power away.


Hagoromo was the Jinchuuriki of the Juubi not the Bijuu seperately so this makes sense to me. The Sun and Moon seals not being what cast CT but rather Hagoromo doing it himself while simultaneously seperating the Bijuu from her body like he had done in the past after his time as a Jinchuuriki.


OT: Perhaps Hamura was the one who requested her power be seperated as beasts to prevent any one individual from obtaining all that power at once. Keeping tabs on the Gedo for that very reason as well without realizing that someone would be able to summon it after obtaining the Rinnegan. Afterall, if he didn't want people to wield chakra, then he would especially not want one individual wielding chakra of that magnitude.

No matter what we say...the true sequence of events will always be pure speculation.

but i'll go with what the manga gave us...

Hagoromo and Hamura used Rikudou chibaku tensei to defeat Kaguya creating a moon.

Hagoromo researched how to stop IT...resulting in him becoming Juubi Jinchuuriki (Either he summoned it from the moons core leaving the empty moon in space...or him doing this resulted in the first moons destruction)

After watching Ashura, Hagoromo found a new path and decided to create the Bijuu.

Having the Gedou mazou inside him allowed Hagoromo to cling to life due to it's powerful life-force.

When he was nearing death, Hagoromo extracted the mazo from himself and either used chibaku tensei to create a new moon...or reverse summoned it to an already existing moon.

Hamura took over the Ootsutsuki clan and migrated to the moon to watch over the Mazo
