Don't give into the high school drama there will be a lot of it be yourself don't try and impress people truth is you won't even talk to 85% of the people you meet there after your out you will all go on to do your own things with your life get good grades which is not hard just study alittle nd you will get them pay attention in class how ever hard it may seem at times there is plenty of time to **** off and mess around there will be plenty of parties and I suggest you go to them live it up you only go to high school once and once it's over you start work nd working truly does suck so get good grades so you can go to college for wht you want to do in life cause if u don't you'll get stuck doing somthing you hate or rele don't care for honestly high school is the last place where people of the same age congregate together like tht so have as much fun as you can while doing good in school and yes it's possible to do good in school and have a lot of fun everyone wants to go to the big colleges how do u pay for them get good grades for scholarships or play some sports tht you r rele good at nd maybe you'll get a full ride don't listen to people who say **** school join a band nd don't put all of your hopes in a pro career in sports the odds of tht happening r so slim it's not funny but all in all have fun bro nd be yourself don't change for no one hope it helped!!!

I need all the advice you can possibly give for me. I'm going to High School tomorrow for the first time, I was suppose to go like 3 days ago to know where my classes were but I forgot


I'm sort of shivering as I'm typing all this because I'm really nervous. I want good grades so yeah. I'm not bad at math but I'm not the best...also in Canada Vancouver you start High School in Grade 8.

I've gotten already some pretty good advice from one of my really good friends on the site so that's good. How do I start off? When should I start my homework? As soon as I come home, wait till the last minute like me and everyone else does? Tell me all the advice you can give me, also share your experiences to everyone.

my first month in high school was like living in the jungle.guys were beating up each other in the bathroom for "respect", constant arguing and fighting in the classroom, people running around the halls...just complete crazyness lol. but after that it got better and better.high school goes by fast so by time you know it,you will be in senior year saying goodbye to close friends and and your fav teachers. enjoy it while it last my friend because once you graduate its not gonna be the same.i graduated high school last year and i only see my best friends from high school like once or twice a year because of college.they are all scattered across the country

In the USA

1. Don't give a shit what anyone else thinks or says. 90%+ of those people are just insecure twats.

2. make REAL friends. Does not matter what "group" you fall in. Dork or jock. be friends with people for who they ARE not where they are at.

3. Care about others, Don't be gay or anything ( Gay as in stupid/uncool). You don't know what others are going through. So don't befriend someone because they might be poor, Or stutter or Homosexual. I lost a good friend because he let others dictate his feelings. he took his own life.

4. Do your work. I'm not saying you need to be a A+ student. but just do the work. try to get ahead as much as you can without wasting your time. Because Most colleges will take you even if you are not a Honor role student. ( Unless your trying to get into those elite+ schools ).

5. DO NOT knock up anyone or get knocked up. IDC what you might believe but "Love" is fickle and most, if not all children have no clue what it really is. people will throw that term around soo much it's retarded and becomes completely redundant. There is nothing wrong in caring for someone in Highschool, But enjoy it for the time your together and simply accept it's not going to last forever.

6. Depending on your thoughts on #5, Dudes have fun seriously. if you end up with the overly Hot GF who happens to be a party animal you don't take it seriously. because shes not going to. So have some damn SAFE fun. You have no clue how many awesome chicks I turned down because I believed the one I was with was "true". Stupid mistake. BUT don't go breaking the hearts of the few good ones. You will realize how hard they are to find later on.

7. If your a Girl. don't be an ******* to everyone, Some guys are shy. And you won't believe how many great guys are turned into complete pricks because of YOUR actions. And vice versa.

8. Lastly remember that your going to school for YOUR future. If you have interest and hobbies then spend that time becoming the best you can be. because once Highschool is done, it's done. people leave,move and honestly don't give a shit anymore. So don't waste all your time revolving around other people and blow a huge chance you had to do something more.

First of all,try to take it easy.High School is not a big deal.You will socialize and communicate with a bunch of other people,you'll listen a lot of new opinions etc. You'll start mature and feeling really older than you did in Middle School. Try to meet new people.They'll do good to you,even though you might have different opinions and personalities.

Secondly,yeah.If you want to go to college, you'll have to study.But if you want my opinion,you can both study and going out having fun with friends.

I'm not familiar of how the Educational System works in your Country,however,here in Greece,things are different.
For example,I'm in the last grade of High School and we're giving very special exams in order to join colleges,universities,technical schools etc.

You're going to have 3 WONDERFUL years.Trust me.

High school is awesome as shit. Find a good group of friends, and try not to be that awkward kid everyone makes fun of. As for schoolwork, I just go with the flow and never make anything lower than a C.
