Don't listen to that, High School is a place where you'll have good experiences. I'm in grade 10 right now and all I can say is be nice to teachers, don't be a little suck up bitch, but just be nice and don't do stupid shit to them (to impress your friends) too much. Cos if you do it'll come back to bite you in the ass later trust me.

Also, don't just hang with one group, walk around and get too know everyone, because come 1 year, clicks will start to form and you'll find yourself hanging out with completely different people. Or with no friends at all cos the nigga's you used to hang with have formed a click lol.

High school is nothing nothing like how it is portrayed in movies.
You will be meet people from all walks of life with all types interest and ways of carrying themselves.Only thing i can think of off hand is to never follow a crowd it will get you know where if you find yourself in a clique its cool everyone has one but they are not the end all be all like what you like but do not let it define you."Goths,jocks, and rappers" is best left in high school
i have made friends with people who dress,talk and listen to different music then i do so what i am trying to say is do not pigeon coop yourself
