Advantages....Alive Minato could never beat Itachi.

This is all manga facts off the top of my head. I joined in 2012...I'm just saying I know stuff so here goes:


- Itachi is a genius and Minato is a genius. thus Intellect wont matter


- Itachi is fast and Minato is fast. thus speed wont matter.


- Itachi has bad stamina, however Minato ends fights quickly so stamina won't be an issue.



-Itachi has sharingan and Minato does not. Itachi has an advantage.

-Manga states 2v1 to fight sharingan. Manga states only Guy Sensei has trained in the art of fighting an opponent by looking at their feet.

-Minato has ftg via kunai/seals, but Itachi can see chakra and has superior shuriken jutsu/handseal speed. Another advantage to Itachi.


Itachi has the best genjustu battle prowess in the series while Minato has no feats of combating genjutsu whatsoever.
The common excuse:

but but but Minato is hokage.


Jiraya was also going to become hokage and admits he's shit at genjutsu.......


Jiraya the guy who trained Minato.....


Jiraya the guy who is canonically inferior to Oro, who was also a candidate for hokage....


The guy Itachi stomped at 13 with genjutsu...

Oro the guy who has a 5 in genjutsu.....



Thus, Itachi has all the advantages while Minato has none and blonde hair.



Itachi wins 9/10.

You mean handseal speed and shuriken jutsu? Definetly. In his battle with Sasuke against Sauce summoning shurikens.... Itachi was making them appear with multiple shuriken jutsus and still had time to weave a crow clone that even Sasuke couldn't read with the sharingan. Kakashi sharingan also had a hard time keeping up with his hand speed movement in p1. It's a common appearance in his fights.

Naw, Minato would own. Itachi isn't nearly as fast as Minato, why? Sasuke was faster than itachi when they fought, Raikage dodged Sasukes amaterasu, but was not able to dodge Minatos kunai after he ftgd to it, Bee had to intercept. This shows how much faster minato was at the time, thus speed plays a huge factor, considering you said it yourself, minato ends battles quickly.

Itachis sharingan takes precious time to activate, time minato will definitely take advantage of.

Minato still wins after all these years.

Here is why Minato wrecks. He is faster,smarter, way more stamina and FTG + food cart destroyer. Minato >>> Jiraiya and Jiraiya = Itachi mangafact.

Thus Minato has all the advantages whilst itachi has none and aids. :sigar:

genjutsu only works against overconfident and weak minded people. it wont work against someone who already knows it's a genjutsu. The second time itachi used a genjutsu on kakashi it didn't work because kakashi already knew he was under genjutsu and him being burnt like a paper was only an illusion. Same thing happened with sasuke. When itachi pulled sasuke's eye ball out he stood on his ground and told itachi that's not going to work on him anymore. Sasuke built a strong mentality.

Minato is dangerously intelligent and i m sure he has strong mentality. He would know whether he is under genjutsu or not. Obito uses genjutsu against those guarding the place where kushina was giving birth to naruto. Why didn't obito just use genjutsu on minato? because he already knew it wouldnt work on him so why even try.
