Sarada displayed the ability to single-handedly defeat dozens of Shin clones even before graduating the academy. This displays her as genius in her abilities compared to her classmates. She already makes all Genin from Part 1 pale in comparison.

As the daughter of the great Sasuke Uchiha, Sarada possess one of the "3 Great Dojutsu" known as the Sharingan. With this ability, she should be considered to have the edge over her classmates. Why? the Sharingan grants the user the ability to see Charka, Incredible clarity of perception such as mimicking, or seeing even the smallest amount of movement from a muscle allows her to dodge or intercept and act accordingly. She would also have the ability to copy almost any jutsu she sees whether it'd be Taijutsu, Genjutsu or Ninjutsu at near perfect accuracy. Given enough time and training, Sarada will be able to display some amazing Genjutsu abilities, as well as dispel any in her way.

Usually the Sharingan has to be wakened through a stressful and negative emotion, however Sarada awakened her eyes through pure excitement at seeing her father, making her very unique in that regard.

Born with Sakura's excellent Chakra control and Sasuke's ability of Sharingan, Sarada will display her might through the new series as a shinobi not to be messed with. Already armed with the resolve to become Hokage and the Will of Fire, she knows no limits to her strength and resolve.

Sarada during the Chunin Exams single-handedly saved the Genius Boruto Uzumaki, son of Konoha's Hokage from falling into a pool of ink, leaving Boruto to hang in the air in defeat and question of his own abilities.

She also displayed the ability to be proficient in Shurikenjutsu with grace and precision. She also has an affinity with Lightning and Yin Release, the former of which she can infuse with Fūma Shuriken to stun or knock back others.

At age 11, she nonchalantly states that she already read all volumes of "Shinobi Strategist Detective Story" as if it were a common read up. At a young age, she is already displaying the interest of gaining all kinds of Shinobi knowledge. Eventually she'll gain enough wisdom in Ninjutsu and the world of Shinobi to be considered a Professor (Like Hiruzen Sarutobi) if she keeps continuing at the rate she's going.

People hate on her because she's Sakura's daughter and nothing else, she hasn't done anything reprehensible as of yet so i'd attribute the hate to just that atm. Not that i'd know, as far as i'm concerned the only exposure we've had to sarada so far is the Gaiden and the Movie, because tbh the way Ikemoto's art is makes it difficult to read the manga, and the anime just hasn't caught my attention yet.

Honestly, it really is jarring when people bring up the "Sakura could have been well written too". Like, no, she can't. Kishi even said there's not a shred of specialness in regards to her character. She is literally less suited to be a heroine than Ino, because at least she is from a Shinobi family.

The very basis of her character revolves around Sasuke, Team 7, and being a Medic. Notice how she has no agency of her own? Everything about her is related to Sasuke/Naruto, even her medical skills. I guess you could include her massive forehead too as a character trait, but how far would that even carry an MC :lol

Meanwhile, with Hinata, her potential is arguablly the most wasted out of any character in this series.

Her desire to become stronger.
Her desire to be acknowledged by her family.
Her relationship with Naruto.
Her relationship with Neji.
Her relationship with Hiashi.
Her relationship with Hanabi.
Her (potential) relationship with Sasuke.
Her role as heiress and leader of the Hyuga.
Her involvement in the Ootsutsuki family.

Every single shred of Hinata's character is better suited for a relevant MC in comparison to Sakura

Her story arc shares components of Naruto’s, Lee’s, Choji’s, Sasuke’s, and Neji’s story arcs, her background fits more in line with Naruto, Sasuke’s, Kakashi’s, and the Ootsutsuki, her powers would give far more room for a diverse moveset with Gentle Fist as a basis, her romance is actually a positive bond that has legitimate valu), or her personality since it meshes well with Sasuke/Naruto’s.

Damn this is a new one. Hating a character because the author didn't make a different one the main character. All your problems with Sakura come down to Kishi being shit at writing female characters. Let me help you. SHE IS FICTIONAL SHE DOESN'T REALLY EXIST. KISHI ****ED UP. GET OVER IT.
PS. I think Sakura was a shit character too.

It's been revealed that Sarada will get MS, and she'll probably be Hokage some day. I really don't see her being fodder in the same way that Sakura was, even if Boruto is the MC. So far the writing for both the anime and the Manga has been really good.
