I just thought of a brilliant suggestion so mods and admins, bare with me and hear me out.
In the history of threads created by a user, only 4 pages worth of threads shows up which means that the user and everyone else no longer has direct access to certain threads as time goes on. Furthermore, there is a rule that states that old threads can no longer be bumped back. I understand why this rule is put into place and I'm not questioning it. Old threads can't be bumped because certain events in the manga may make certain threads and posts downright wrong and if old threads are bumped, some users can be ridiculed on their previous posts even though at that point there posts might have been logical. However, there are certain classic threads that are always going to be relevant, but once they get flushed out by constant irrelevant threads, they are often buried and forgotten.
So I request that a new section, which would probably be called the Archives Section, be made. Now this is not going to be a section where members can simply create new threads at whim, but it will be a section where classic high quality threads with a lot of important information are going to be permanently moved. These quality threads can include theories, heated VS thread discussions and analysis of different aspects of the manga. If mods want, I don't mind if they lock these threads after the discussion is over, but this way, threads considered masterpieces can still remain to be viewed by members or non members without them having to dig their way to a quality thread.
Since it will be tough for mods to decide which thread deserves to be placed within this archives section, I suggest that threads that automatically get at least ten thanks or another rating system should automatically be placed within this section. If mods find a troll thread that got many thanks, they could simply delete it or remove it from the archives section altogether.
So what are your thoughts on this?
