Since Madara was addicted to the point to surpass the s06p he should knows somehow his look. And he was advanced than anyone else about the story, there must be some place somewhere on something that describes s06p, but not just his rinnegan maybe.

It's so stupid that Kurama and the rest of the Bijuu are the only ones who actually did recognize him.

At least Madara and OBito should say something about the Biju Mode but they didn't.

Sasuke is Kishimoto's last card so expect something very interesting. As Kishimoto said there is still a good amount of story behind Sasuke. Revelations of Rikudou and the Juubi are better left to the Uchiha, so what Sasuke has to say about the genesis of the Shinobi System will equate/surpass all others concerning this cycle of hatred.

Sasuke needs development, for presently his confusion makes him severely uncertain of his actions, meaning the author will devote an extreme amount of panel-time to him and Orochimaru, solely, so he can catch up with Naruto in power, determination and ambition. We, as readers, need to believe whatever Sasuke decides to do it can't be rushed. There’s a reason Madara didn’t use Eien no Mangekyō Sharingan techniques bar the necessary foreshadowing of Perfect Susano’o, Sasuke is the one who is going to show us the "true power".​
