Madara doesn't give a rats' ass about Naruto, if you mean the magatama around his neck that's probably just from Kurama's yang chakra. He'd probably rather see how the current generation of Uchiha are doing..

*possible spoiler* Sasuke manages to do some alternate way to get the rinnegan (Plot no jutsu), Sasuke challenges Naruto to see who is truly stronger while everyone else is busy with obito, madara, and juubi, Naruto or sasuke wins (personally doesn't care), due to the prolonged battle juubi absorbs kyruubi/kurama and hachibi,Juubi gains 1 more eye from the hachibi and 2 from the kyruubi (Kurama has 2/10 of the juubi's chakra) thus the juubi goes from 6 to 9 not counting the middle iris which makes 10, Naruto feels hopeless to do anything, sasuke as a last resort to beat the completed juubi gives naruto his eyes, Naruto now being an imperfect sage of the six path (Narutro's an uzumaki and doesn't posses all the traits a TRUE senju has), nauto isn't hindered from using the creation of all things (To a lesser extent than a actual sage), But the juubi is also incomplete (thanks to minato and the bijuus going through some "things" themselves), Naruto fights juubi...etc that's just my theory.

The bijuu knew the sage and have compared Naruto to him, the Toad's prediction(child prophacy) and the man himself(his prediction) have compared Naruto to the sage. Madara isn't relevant here. :|

But it's a contradiction to the meaning of his powers. :|

They're just theories stop calling people fan boys. I'm not claiming he becomes the sage because of that moment i'm saying that it looks like Kishi's steering the manga in that direction that he becomes the savior and does what the sage couldn't in a sense surpassing him.

Sasuke acheving the Rinnegan is not a necessity. What he lacks is the feats to compare him with the other top-tier characters: Naruto, Obito, Madara, etc. Sasuke gaining the Rinnegan just completely disregards the Eien no Mangekyō Sharingan, and given Itachi's statement as well as Madara's absence abilities that stem from these bar Susano'o, it's likely that he'll use the Eien no Mangekyō Sharingan as a testament to such feats (then perhaps later, awakened a different doujutsu).​
