[Discussion] Ace vs Enel

Who would win out of these two?

I imagine it would be a fight without an ending seeing as Lightning and fire wouldnt rly block each other out but rather go through each other.And it is true that enel has haki but he only has the observation one so he cant rly hit Ace.
As far as I know Ace hasnt shown any haki either that would enable him to strike enel

Ace definetly wins this, he is superior IMO. He seems to have better fighting skills than enel who just seems to rely on his logia type invulnerability in combat.

Ace doesn't have control over his King's Haki, since he never used it during the war or series on purpose for that matter.

well ace may win by using his fire to heat up air, charge particles, redirecting enel lighting. either that or who ever has more raw stamina, it would be like to metapods, harding each other to death. also i havent seen anyone with the kings haki, not have some, even if underlying skill in the other haki, plus white beard knew about kings haki, or will of D, and im sure about the other haki as well. so even if he never had to use, or was good at it, im sure he wouldnt be helpless against enel, (who would be just as helpless). remember, ace is above warlord level, a captian of the whitebeard's crew.

When Ace and Smoker confronted each other in Alabasta Ace said it would be an endless battle seeing as its Smoke VS Fire
That would mean he didnt take into account haki which would leave you with the idea he has none.

Besides I am not a fan of giving a character powers just cause it would make sense for them to have it.I prefer to have it showcased in the manga first

I would say that being intangible to a logia is natural and doesnt take any effort.So Ace rly wouldnt need to use any strength to avoid Enel's attacks and visa versa.

then perhaps they would never fight, just walk away from whatever they were doing as to aviod spending time on something thats never gonna end. edit: besides i think Ace was bluffing then and smoker could of really beat him, after all, fire needs air, smoke takes away that air, so Ace would just spark out. the little fight they had was not anything to judge either, if i remember ace blocked an attack ment for luffy, then bsed and hightailed it outta there.

What's with the hype with Enel? I know you're not hyping him and such but what is so good about him? I heard that if he lands back on to earth he will have a high bounty?

It's not really hype, I think people underestimate him because he was defeated early on by Luffy.
It's hard to fight someone who is the perfect counter to you. Without his rubber body, Enel would've stomped Luffy.
As for the bounty, Oda himself stated that Enel could have a bounty as high as 500,000,000.

Now, this fight... I think it'd be a waste of time for both fighters. No one would get injured and they'd both tire.​

I saw a similar thread on another site and there was a lot of talk about temperatures and if u take it in real life, lightning temperatures are far hotter than magma temperatures, just thot I would throw this in.

Oda said that if Enel was on the Sea like all the other pirates he would have atleast a 500 mil bounty which says alot about his ability

Observation haki meets firefly

If luffy's raped fire punches (without thinking can hit enel), I see Ace's fireflies technique exploding simultaneously without being dodged.

It's different when you dodge a technique being hurled at you, but when it surrounds you and attack at all angles.......It's definitely going to hit.

See it like piccolo vs andriod 17 kind of battle without the energy shield
