Ace's physical strength is weaker than Luffy's.

Gear two sent NB flying, Ace couldn't do that.

Vergo broke the strongest part of Sanji's body with a base kick and i'm pretty certain Teach is physically stronger than him(probably even used armament to boot since he was in logia mode), so i won't really hold it against Ace, but more acknowledge it as a testament of Teach's physical strength. Even his own subordinates were acknowledging that Ace was a physical monster even without his devil fruit.

PTS Luffy and Ace tanked a hit from teach and was still able to fight. Mind you this same Luffy couldn't even hurt a Pacista. After time skip Sanji one shotted one. Then he got his bone broke by Vergo pre Haki. This should be enough to let you know that physical strength from Part 1-2 increased greatly. If Luffy or Ace would have took a hit from a serious Vergo it would have been game. ​

Well you're the one who started the comparison with Luffy pre-timeskip, so i wanted to shut down your argument. As for current Luffy, i already said in this same thread that i also don't think he can match the power of current gear3 Luffy with his physical strength alone(although he has the fire ability to make up for it), but still Jimbei still showed the capacity to operate on his level post-timeskip as well(as far as gear2 is concerned at least), so i won't say Ace is lagging behind especially since he had at least 2years to become stronger after his Jimbei battle

He probably did, but not that much considering he was in prison and his growth rate isn't as high as Luffy's or Ace's.
