Aburame Clan

The Aburame clan (油女一族) is one of the four noble clans of Konohagakure. They are characterized by their use of insects as weapons. The insects live in symbiosis within the body of the shinobi. At birth, members of this clan are offered to a special breed of insects called Kikaichuu as a nest, residing just under their host's skin. The clan members may also carry additional bugs in jars or gourds with them on missions. The insects can leave and enter their host's body through various pores. They feed on chakra as a food source, making them quite deadly. The relationship between the shinobi and the insects is mutually beneficial. The host grants the bugs shelter and allows them to feed off their chakra, their body becoming a living hive of tens of thousands of these bugs, and in return the bugs do the user's bidding, allowing the shinobi to perform ninjutsu-like techniques without the use of hand seals or chakra conversion. A major defining trait of the Aburame clan is that all of its known members wear dark sunglasses that hide their eyes as well as wear clothing that covers up most of their body.

- The Aburame insects are semi-sentient, chakra-sensing insects. Due to their symbiotic relationship with the host, mediated by chakra, they are specially in tuned to their host's chakra signature, and it is through molding chakra outside of the user's body that the host can guide the insects into forming shapes or any sort of command or communication.
- All Aburame Insect breeds move at 10 speed unless noted otherwise, moving as fast as the average Sage.
- One of the main purpose of the Aburame clan is not only to adapt their symbiotic relationship into their combat, but also to study insects as whole. Insects are immune to Genjutsu due to their less-than complex nervous system, and immune to the toxic effects of poison, though they are not immune to the physical attributes of the poison's medium, enabling them to simply drown or asphyxiate in the poison, even if they're not affected by it's symptoms.
- Aburame members gain an increase of +1 Bonus BODY AP unless they are using Dual Abilities, in which case the ability with the highest AP boosts will apply. Techniques utilize the BODY Attribute and deal Physical Damage.
Custom Aburame Insect Breed:
- While most Aburame are infused with Kikaichuu when they are born, some of them can be infused with different, more unique breeds.
- While they replace the Kikaichuu, these species can make up for it with different and no less useful traits, such as different chakra draining rates, different elemental strengths, or any sort of aesthetical or functional attribute, within reason
- These types of bugs will need to be submitted in the Custom Jutsu thread and once approved, updated in a updated bio.
- Only one custom breed per bio.
- Custom Insect Breeds require, at minimum, Chunin rank
Restrictions:
- Aburame bios can be made at all times.
- All Aburame bios must originate from Konohagakure.
- Special Aburame bios require, at minimum, Genin rank, and can only have 1 additional insect breed. They can unlock a second breed at Chūnin rank.
