About Third Hokage vs Orochimaru....

Ive seen alot of people say that Sarutobi winning the fight vs Orochimaru and Edo First/Second Hokage is not a feat, using the argumment that the Hokages were not at their full power, while overlooking the fact that Sarutobi wasn't at full power himself. Even if Sarutobi isn't the strongest hokage, this is still quite a feat. Sarutobi at maybe 20-30% power beating Tobirama and Hashirama at around 20% each aswell..I think this is a really big feat

Orochimaru was toying around, he had MANY chances to kill him, even Hiruzen stated so (When the battle first began, Orochimaru could've easily slit his throat, but didn't). Orochimaru with killing intent would utterly stomp.

sarutobi had huge chakra reserve and flexibility maybe he cannot beat them with fight but he will make them all out of chakra then beat them!!!

Sarutobi actually lost that fight because he got sealed and Orochimaru continued to live.

Agreed, i also think that Orochi would have killed old Hiruzen a lot faster if he was serious. But what i'm saying is that Old Hiruzen is basically the same, if not a bit weaker than 20% First/Second. So beating both of them at the same time is a big feat

Ok, i dissagree. I think he won because he managed to stop Orochimaru's plan, and make him unable to use jutsu for like 3-4 years. He did what he wanted to do .

Agreed . Although Kishi has done an incredibily good job with villains who want peace like Obito and Nagato , I think Oro needs to stay evil .

Well, he was the last one standing, but i consider Sarutobi the winner because he accomplished his goal, which was sealing his arms (his goal at first was going for the kill, but he didnt have enough chakra because of old age)

Exactly, he even stated in the DB, Orochimaru was supposed to be evil incarnate. So, if he receives some lame sob story, i'm going to flip my ****.

Although i think Oro was stronger than Sarutobi at that time, he wasn't taking the fight seriously at first. But the same can be said for Sarutobi sense he was hesitating. I do agree that the power gap between them wasn't as big as some people make it out to be
