Equality is rubbish. People who believe in that are reading nothing but a fairy tale. In reality life is not fair. That is why Sasuke got the short end of the stick.
@bold Apparently, you are the Fairy tale lover here. Pun intended.
BTW, seriously speaking, Sasuke doesn't have the short end of the stick. Actually, he has the longer one which is why Kishi needed to get rid of his arm and not give him Hashi's powers despite giving Naruto bijuus powers, so that they remain equal.
Sasuke is just like Indra and Naruto is just like Ashura. Both Naruto and Ashura needed some help beyond the proportional help of their Uchiha counterparts to rival them. Ashura was given RSM by Hagoromo to rival Indra and Naruto was given Kurama to rival Sasuke.
And we all know Sasuke's potential even now is much greater than Naruto i.e. the powers he can attain. So Sasuke absolutely can't have the short end of the stick when his power aren't saturated yet e.g. he can gain RSM by Ten Tails Coffin Seal on the Juubi, and even learn Sage Mode to empower his already equal-to-Naruto abilities (no one can question Sasuke's attainment of SM). So with that amount of potential, while Naruto has nothing, Kishi has no reason to give Sasuke the shorter end of the stick.
