Maybe he has. But it would make things worse imo. Sakura is struggling to pay off her mortgage loan and passed out due to stress. They have no photos together as a family, if they did she wouldn't photo shop herself over the other girl. She speaks vaguely of him and gets angry and defensive when challenged about the extent of their relationship. All that points to lack of a relationship in the first place. These are two characters who have tried to kill one another. So 99% of the fandom never expected a happy love life.

How anyone can still ship SS is beyond me.

I agree it does look pretty shitty so far, that may or may not change later in this Gaiden.

But that's off topic, I'm not talking about this pairing or trying to make it look better, I am just addressing the possibility of letters since many people brought that up in the last few days.

Paring is just their relationship right. Anyway I hope you are right. I think he should know about his daughters welfare and he should ask one who is raising her not naruto - which is what I suspect has probably been happening.

Of course what I am saying in the OP was never shown, but it was also never proven false either. So until we know it never happened, saying "he never sent letters" doesn't hold more value than saying "he could have sent something", I am discussing a possibility and provided a logical explanation.

It does not need to be proven right or wrong. If it was simply not shown it never happen. We are reading Kishi's manga not your fanfic.

How is Sakura looking worn out related to Sasuke sending letters or not? That's like saying Naruto doesn't talk to Himawari because he wears a cape. The 2 things are completely unrelated.

Btw she looked pretty fine before Sarada expressed her sadness. :lol

Letters between them is very plausible IMO, he wouldn't send Naruto letters unless he needed his attention. But you could be right.

Unless Kishi makes a chapter that states he did send her a letter I won't believe the fanfic you are presenting. No it means it never happen. Unless Kishi emphasis on it, it means it never happen. This is a manga not some real life situation.

Yes yes, because Sakura cannot share these letters with her daughter either. I seriously doubt Sasuke reveals who he kills in these letters, but probably gives away his location and tells her how he is doing. Funny enough Sasuke was confirmed to be doing reconnaissance in undeveloped territories. There is nothing stopping him from visiting every once in a while, these missions aren't as half as dangerous as War missions. I mean what did we expect him to do in a time of peace?

Which no one bar of anyone should not be receiving, especially their daughter. Which I would know because my father did the exact same thing when he joined the military and went off to fight in Vietnam.

its very much possible. the whole situation for now is still very vague, eventually it should start getting resolved. we just have to wait and see
