And also, where did the artificial thing come from? Any proof she can't give birth? She firmly told Sarada shes her daughter. And if there was more to it, she wouldn't have hidden it. Already shown when she tried lieing to Naruto and failed and then to Sai.

The same reason no one just told her the simple truth that she was just born outside the village: for cheap drama because Kishi is a hack writer and a troll. This also destroys Sakura's speech to Shin and Naruto's speech to Salad since the message that "blood isn't all it takes to be family" became absolutely meaningless, to me this resolution made Gaiden completely pointless other than fan (dis)service.... freaking terrible smh...

Re-read Sarada's & Shizune's conversation & you'll notice the panels switched over to Sakura mid way & it's insinuated that she asked if Karin was her mom.
Shizune said "There's no way that's true".
Her inability to answer about the "details" of the birth wasn't really alarming to me...
Just made me assume Sakura wasn't in the village during her labor, which we latter found out was indeed the case.

Avatar The Last Airbender(which is considered the western equivalent of Naruto) had a comic with the exact same plot and it explained its misleads. So Kishi has no excuse.

You do realize that we don't pay to read his manga right? We read this shit for free and Kishi gets nothing out of it.
