ok remember when the leaf village was attacked by madara and the ninetails. minato summoned a frog. and in order to summon a frog. you gotta be contracted with tht animal. does that mean minato can use sage techniqe maybe?? who knows. but he was def contracted with the frog. he had to learn it from j man. any opinions?:shrug:

I know that he knew the frogs, when naruto fights pain, gramoa frog says he looks just like those two, he has surpassed his predecessors. Now a sage, i cant be certain.

na cuz there always hiding stuff from them anyways. they waited forever to tell him this much.

He did sign the contract with the toads, but there is no actual proof that he knew sage mode... for now stick to that until more is reveled.
