About comments

I know this has been brought up occasionally, but I think this matter deserves a thread.
In the design hall section, I have been seeing the number of
Useless comments increasing latley. I'm talking about comments like, "wow, it's great!" or "omfg, that's amazing!". Comments that don't help the artist at all. When somebody posts something, and asks for comments and critique, they don't give a crap about those kind of comments. If somebody replies to a thread in the desingn hall, they should be able to offer ways for the artist to improve and get better. 90% of the comments are just crap that didn't help anyone get better. The artist dosn't care if you say"incredible sig!". They don't care about that. The point of posting in a design hall is to get better, not to listen to a bunch of useless crap.

So next time someone asks for CnC, give useful comments in what you actually think.

I'm not saying that this applies to everyone, but most decent artists agree that useless comments are pointless.

yes, exactly. the same goes for other ppl as well.

Yeah , it's a bit boring when all comments are like that, but not everyone can advice or critic. Sometimes you like it so much that you can't say anything else but " Wow, nice job" and similar to that. And this isn't some Digital Graphic forum where all members are experienced with programs like Photoshop, Gimp etc.

I agree but one thing it does is bump up the thread so others can critique it and quite honestly maybe the people who say that actually think it

yeah, i agree. But this forum is almost useless as far are critique. even if you dont know anything about lighting, you can comment on basic things like lighting, overall appearance, flow, and stuff like that.

they say that think even for the worst stuff,and its not about the experience,you can say what u dislike in a piece even if its literature paintings or stuff cuz u dont like it right
even if u cant say it with all those stuff like dont use that brush use another one,ur smudging is bad and so on
