The thing is, we can't actually prove whether Indra married a normal girl, or someone special. Like Asura, they hail from the Otsutsuki Clan. Before Hamura left to the Moon, they were an abundant amount of them.

Considering Hagoromo didn't leave his clan, nor was exiled from it. How can we say for certain that neither of them married people from their own heritage?

Another thing we don't know for sure is if they were all Otsutsuki, and even if they were, they did not have the special chakra that would make their genes superior.

It started from Kaguya, then Hagoromo and Hamura, then their children and so on.

Ashura and Indra as the Sage's children were the only ones who inherited his powers, which he inherited from Kaguya. So their wives would've been fodder/considered normal either way.

If sasuke wanted to produce offspring with strong genes he could probably just hand over his DNA to oro and make some genetically modified baby . no need for karin

Gladly... :)

The thing is, we can't actually prove whether Indra married a normal girl, or someone special. Like Asura, they hail from the Otsutsuki Clan.

I've read somewhere (it was a Kishi interview, I'll try to find it later) that if a Hyuga and an Uchiha have a child, that child will have one Byakugan and one Sharingan. Considering Otsutsuki to be the Hyuga type (having the Byakugan), the Uchihas would most probably have Byakugan, which they don't.

I'll bet my money that Indra married a normal girl. Just an assumption though. This is further backed up however (below).

Before Hamura left to the Moon, they were an abundant amount of them.

Is that really the case? Because as far as I know, Kaguya was the first and only Otsutsuki on Earth who came to acquire the chakra fruit. And since she stayed on Earth from thereon, it's also highly probably that even Kaguya married a normal guy. And if it didn't affect the inheritance of genetic power, probably Indra and Ashura were the same case since they along with Hagoromo, Hamura and Kaguya were the only Otsutsuki on Earth. No other Otsutsuki came to Earth, and since Indra and Ashura lived on Earth, it's most probably that they both married a normal girl.

Considering Hagoromo didn't leave his clan, nor was exiled from it. How can we say for certain that neither of them married people from their own heritage?

Edit; Gotta leave school. Be back in a few hours.

Well, this kind of relies on the above answer.

No need, you're right. He said that somewhere -- But didn't he make that statement during an early part of the series? He did say he came up with Kaguya at the last minute. Anyway, we don't know how the Uchiha Clan started up though. All they say is that it originated from the Byakugan itself.

I believe, Kaguya ate the fruit and became the ruler of her clan (and the world) for the most part. I'm not sure if this was stated in the Manga, or her Data-Book. But I'm positive here. Considering she had the entire clan under her control, it's highly possible that she married someone in it. Though, we can't say for sure.

This depends on knowledge from above whether I am accurate as well. Because it's so-so from memory, but I'm relying on chance for this one (being a bit lazy from school, but I'm fairly certain it said she was Clan Leader).

I'm not exactly sure whether or not Hagoromo/Hamura lived in the same place, but it directly implies that in the Last. That he left Earth to go to the Moon, while his brother stayed in Earth to spread his ideology of Ninshuu. In the Manga, it doesn't imply either. We just know that they both had to bring down the Juubi/Kaguya together.

Hagoromo was the odd one out compared to his brother, wasn't he? He was born without the Byakugan, but had the Rinnegan. lol

I think anybody who says this intentionally happened in the manga is giving Kishimoto too much credit.

You're reading into that but Sakura is the stronger and Sasuke has never shown interest in his lineage or their status in the genepool. He doesn't even know what clan Sakura & Karin come from. Therefore it's not up for interpretation- this did not happen.

What are you talking about? He definitely knows what clan Sakura comes from, remember they introduced themselves as a team, besides being from the same village and academy. And it wouldn't be far-fetched to assume he knows Karin is an Uzumaki as well given she was his teammate and has the hair/abilities.

You are right however about him not showing interest in their gene pool, which is how any normal human should be. Imagine Sasuke saying "**** it, she doesn't have the genes, this other girl does, **** feelings, that's the decider", he would be a huge prick. Only fans are interested in genes mixing to produce supposedly OP offspring.

You're welcome.

Yeah, I guess it was some time early. So he could've changed up his mind since then possibly.

Anyway, we don't know how the Uchiha Clan started up though. All they say is that it originated from the Byakugan itself.

That was again earlier in the series.

Whether that is true or false, the fact is that Kaguya was the first alien on Earth and has lived on Earth since she arrived. It's nowhere said that the rest of her clan was also present on Earth, and it most probably wasn't. So settling among humans without any other clan members around probably indicates that she married a normal guy. Though I can't be very sure either.

This depends on knowledge from above whether I am accurate as well. Because it's so-so from memory, but I'm relying on chance for this one (being a bit lazy from school, but I'm fairly certain it said she was Clan Leader).

It's just a hunch so we'll just keep it there. We can't make any solid assumptions based on that.

According to what I know, Hagoromo and Hamura were born on Earth and lived there ever since along with Kaguya. Those 3 were presumably the only Otsutsuki on Earth because Kaguya was the only one who came here. Later on, Hagoromo and Hamura were married to expand their generation which again would be through a normal woman, not any kind of saiyan. Indra and Ashura presumably also did the same thing.

Right, we've seen Kishimoto change his mind frequently.

Mhm... I feel he sort of asspulled this at the last minute. We already know the Otsutsuki Clan, or Kaguya especially, was last minute. I bet he sort of pulled in with the Byakugan being their main eyes too.

Just a hunch.

Here's a piece from the Otsutsuki history in the Last DB

DB said:
Heading: From the progenitor of Chakra, Kaguya, to modern day Shinobi. A blood lineage spanning more than a millennium will be unraveled here.

Bloodline: A Clan divided between the Earth and the moon.

The Ōtsutsuki Clan arrived on the Earth in search of the Divine Tree's fruit. Kaguya ate the fruit and obtained Chakra, then instantly quelled the turbulent times. After her defeat, Kaguya left behind twins: younger brother Hamura led the Clan to the moon while Hagoromo remained on the Earth to try and spread the teachings of Ninshu.

↑ Hagoromo's sons. The dispute over which brother would inherit Ninshu gave rise to an interminable cycle of conflict.

Byakugan: The Kekkei Genkai passed down through the Hyūga Clan.

From Kaguya to Hamura, and so on. After passing through a great many generations, the Hyūga Clan became the sole inheritors of Kaguya's Byakugan. Since its founding, the Hyūga's leadership has been dedicated to preserving this Kekkei Genkai, which has allowed them to thrive.

↓ The Hyūga's Byakugan. The clan leader's Byakugan in particular has a high transplant compatibility with Hamura's descendants

So I guess the Otsutsuki Clan did arrive on Earth, and then she ate the fruit, and then later birthed twins. Since the whole Clan traveled with her, it doesn't make sense for her to have settled down with a normal human? Honestly they were probably too scary looking compared to what humans look like in Naruto's world. But yeah, we've seen weirder stuff everyday lmao.

Yes, presumably... but I'm not talking about that. I'm referring to Uchiha's Sharingan being derived from the Byakugan which Kishi said earlier in the series. And later dropped that idea after it was proven that the Sharingan was derived from the Rinne Sharingan.

Well, now that you've given the DB entry, and I'll assume is true, I think I'll have to take back what I said, but not completely.

If the entire Otsutsuki clan arrived on Earth along with Kaguya, it's most probable that Kaguya married someone from the Otsutsukis and gave birth to Hagoromo and Hamura.

But after this part, the same confusion occurs again. How do we know whether Hagoromo and Hamura married an Otsutsuki as well or a normal woman? This depends on whether they married before or after fighting Kaguya. If it was before, then anything could happen (most probably they married an Otsutsuki). But if it was after, then Hagoromo must have married a normal girl since the Otsutsuki left to the moon. And Hamura must have married an Otsutsuki because well, he was on the moon with all Otsutsukis.

And since the Otsutsuki clan had long since left the Earth, we can assume that Hagoromo was the only Otsutsuki on Earth along with his sons. So Indra and Ashura definitely married a normal girl.

And the point was that if Sasuke was conscious about it (His lineage understandably could be a big deal for him) and we had confirmation that Uchiha & Senju blood unlocked somethingOP and magical then we could have a nice human drama.
