A song of Blood and Steel - A Game of Swordsmen

[Zenryoku]

A wandering swordsmen walks the snow swept bamboo forests on the Land of Iron admiring the cool winter air, warm breath breathing fire from each breath with the winter birds singing their winter solace , the shogun Izanami Kaito enjoying the tune suddenly stops when the song dulls down.

Kaito:Who deems to call the song to an end come out and announce yourself stranger....

He tries his best to keep a "poker face" and not let what he is feeling show.

I'm not someone who carries a lot of knowledge though I do have a will to fight. I always come to these parts, however it is the first I have seen someone else here.

The name is cool enough, its a spin on the Song of Ice and Snow my favourite set of books U_U​

As Kaito readies herself, Romeo grabs the hilt of his sword with his right hand. He takes it out of his sash and starts running towards Kaito with the sword facing downward to his right. His hand is in the middle of the sword, allowing him to maneauvor the sword without hiderance and still have power in a strike.

As he runs he keeps his eyes active to be prepared for what Kaito could or might do. When Romeo gets within range he swings his sword vertically upwards, going right to left. It is aimed to slash Kaito from her left hip and up to her right shoulder. After the slash, he uses the momentum to redirect the sword in a semi circle like manner so that his right arm is stretching across his body and then quickly performs a vertical slash from left to right, cutting Kaito across the stomach. Once the sequence is finished he takes a small leap back so that he is at a safe distance away from Kaito.

He uses his upper body strength to put power into an upwards thrust with the sword, still keeping it's position, and clashing with Kaito's sword with enough strength to keep it from coming down and hitting him. As the struggle of power happens he quickly rolls his wrists over the sword while pushing his arms to the left. The wrist movement would make the sword become vertical and make you sword glance away. Using that short ap Romeo takes a small leap back from Kaito.

You're right, it's not often I get to fight with a sword.

Just a small note; please excuse any small mistakes or misunderstandings, this is literally my first Kenjutsu fight I usually fight with taijutsu.

As Romeo's sword is flicked down and Kaito is moving forward in an attempt to slice his arm, he goes with the momentum of his sword being knocked down. When his hands are moving down he quickly makes his arms do a rotation in the air in a full circle that redirects the sword upwards. It makes contact just as the tip of Kaito's blade first makes contact with Romeo's arm. It deflects Kaito's blade but leaves Romeo with a small cut on his arm. Before Kaito can re assemble and take up the chudn no kamae stance Romeo runs forward, in the attempt of rushing Kaito. When in range once again he quickly performs a two handed vertical slash coming down from above kaito's head.

My my, this is quite the challenge.
