Izuna's words and expression speaks volumes, Madara would of course use the Sharingan in battle as soon as it was available, telling us that it was only awakened at that point, when Izuna was put in danger.

It's only a very tiny plot-hole, nothing to be defensive about.

You can't read? Haku wasn't referring to his tomoe, the speech/thought bubble says sharingan. Sasuke never "awakened" his sharingan there. The point is that he awakened his sharingan when he was younger.

This topic is kind of stupid. Just like the Haku/Sasuke example, just because Hashirama's dad asked if he awakened his sharingan there, doesn't mean that it the first time Madara could use a sharingan.

Madara clearly knew that he had the sharingan since he hesitated to tell Hashirama, when he was about to. The point here is that Madara was shown to have awakened it afterwards. :yeah: In other words, Madara had already awakened it but it was just shown a little later when Izuna was fighting against Tobirama. Either that or in the first scan you showed, maybe Madara just became aware that he doesn't yet have the sharingan so therefore he couldn't tell Hashirama. :eww:

You just need to think carefully about what Kishi is implying in that chapter. It's perfectly understandable when you think carefully about it and it's not a plothole so don't worry.

It is remotely possible that it isnt a plot hole, and that madara could secretly use sharingan when talking with hashi. And that he used it when the daddy uchiha and senju showed up to show hashi his feelings. Madara certainly met the requirements needed to unlock it previously(lose some one loved/tramua

Does Madara say he has sharingan? Yes. Does he have awakened sharingan? No. Obito called his eyes sharingan "When my sharingan awaken, I'll show you, idiot!" before he actually had sharingan. About Madara's eyesight, he's just boasting.

This is of the same merit as when Sasuke awakened his 2-Tomoe Sharingan the night of the massacre, but we only saw him first use it, against Haku and Zabuza. It is quite evident that Madara already had his Sharingan, but he kept it a secret from his brother and his father. If you also take notice from the previous chapters that you are referencing, when Senju Hashirama is conversing with his father and brother, they tell him that Madara has killed many adult Senju's. Do you honestly believe he would be capable of that without his Sharingan? Obviously not.

well that is nothing, Obito used his MS ability to faze true "the bouilder" with his 2 totem sharingan... (something like a year prior to the moment where Kakashi awakended Obito's MS for him)
