A Rinnegan wouldnt ruin Naruto, it wont be as you imagine it would be.

When people imagine Naruto with Rinnegan they imagine Naruto's eye turning into Rinnegan and casting Shinra Tensei, Chibaku Tensei, etc This is not what will happen if he does, and Kishi has already foreshadowed it with Shisui's eye.

He might and possibly will get an eye technique, however Kishi has shown over and over again that even if he does he wont get doujutsus on his face.

He technically had the most powerful sharingan so far (Shisui's) however it was used in some a way that his biological eyes didnt transformed, yet technically genjutsued Itachi.

So going by what was shown, Naruto may have Rinnegan but his eyes wont transform into it, he will use it by other method, possibly a bodily representation of the Rinnegan or a summon has Rinnegan or something. In this case I imagine his Uzumaki swirls from his body when he is using his transformation will turn into concentric circles.

Naruto may get Rinnegan to match the sage, but it wont be as bad as people think, it will be done in a way that it is bodily and doesnt touch his eyes. Uchihas get the Rinnegan in an eye, perhaps Senjus and Uzumakis have another version of the Rinnegan a bodily one (Nagato didnt got it becuase the Rinnegan was simply transplanted into his eyes, he didnt awakened it properly in his body).

Even if he uses it totally different? For what we know Rinnegan could simply transform his spirals into concentric circles while transformed, and will simply give him massive boost in all his abilities.

I think your case and a lot of people is more of a prejudice rahter than actually thinking why would or would not ruin him.

Its like if Sasuke got the body of the sage, will he get a glowy transformation and move like a yellow flash? Of course not, he will simply be more durable and his sharingan techniques will be a lot more powerful and spamable.

i am not opposed to something like chakra chains/maybe some wood element since it seems to go in par with sage & 9tail chakra mode, but dojutsu seems to not be his style.

I'm pretty sure a rinnegan will come into play sometime soon but not for naruto. I expect to see sasuke attaining it at some point, especially that we now know it is a natural progression of the sharingan. Thinking about it logically; sasuke is from the uchiha, a desendant of the older brother and the one who possessed the "eyes" of the sage. Naruto on the other hand is a desendant of the younger brother who possessed the "body" of the sage, witch he may or may not have yet.

If Naruto is a directed descendant of the SO6P as I suspected He is, There is nothing wrong with Him getting the Rinnegan after all both Madara and Tobi got theirs and can use it by combining both Senju and Uchiha DNA. Why can't Uzumaki DNA do the same as showed by Nagato Uzumaki?
