The Kuratas KR01 is 4-meter, 4-ton giant robot. It's a collaborative vision of two men, artist Kogoro Kurata and OS developer Wataru Yoshizaki (V-Sido robot) with the assistance of Suidobashi Heavy Industries.

Among its weaponry are twin gatling BB guns that can shoot some 6000 BBs per minute and a water-bottle rocket launcher that is said to be so accurate that it sometimes hits the target.

Problems I see with its design.

1. Long thin legs on wheels. Easy to damage and without one I'm sure it just flops over. They need to switch it to treads or just get rid of the legs and go with heavy duty tires.
2. Push button cockpit opening. If something bumps that button the cockpit will start to open. A latching system would be much easier and cheaper.
3. If you can control it through a cell phone it can be hacked.
4. No way that thing holds more than a couple gallons of fuel.
5. Its slow as hell. 10kpm is nothing and the movement needs to be faster.
6. Why bother with a shield when you could just armor up the whole thing and use that extra arm for more weapons?
7. The Smile Gun is a horrible idea.

I understand this is meant to be like a toy but instead of developing toy mechs they could just develop armed one man tanks for urban warfare and make infinitely more profit.

Looks awesome.

I lol'd at the "that is said to be so accurate that it sometimes hit the target". They could have at least gave some kind of accuracy rating. "Sometimes" Lol.

Most of these are pretty true, But I see this as mostly a prototype and not fit for actual combat, but most of these would probably fixed as time goes on.
