I like how you pointed about the similarities between Obito and Kabuto, but I can tell you that what you want to happen, isn't going to happen. When the light shines on you its over. You don't need to look at the moon, even sleeping people got caught. Kabuto did too.

I will admit, this is a bit of a fanfiction for me. But I really hope it does happen.

My only retort would be that even with your eyes closed, light still shines through.

Madara stated that his light pierces shadow.

Having shadow implies there is light present. So anywhere there is light, there is also shadow.

If there is no light, there is darkness.

Kabuto is able to completely block off his eyes from light, meaning there is no shadow, but only darkness. In essence, his eyes would not be affected by Infinite Tsukuyomi.

But if Infinite Tsukuyomi works on the body rather than the eyes, then that's a different matter entirely. But if it only works on the eyes, I am certain Kabuto would be unaffected.

I love this idea, but I doubt that Kabuto would resist IT. Nice theory and points though.

Man, I hope Kabuto and Killer Bee aren't caught in the genjutsu. I definitely think that it'll happen. Their apparent identity crisis is evident enough for this to happen. I will however, wait on teh next chapter for clarification.

Unfortunately I do think Killer Bee might have been caught. His shades don't block out light completely.

It's true that genjutsu doesn't work on Perfect Jinchuriki's, but Madara has shown to be able to control Yagura, a perfect jin.

But that's no my only reason. I think because the genjutsu is using the power of the Juubi, it might be too much for the Jinchuriki to handle since before it was only cast by mortal men.

Although I hope I'm wrong. I would like to see more of Killer Bee.

I thought that at first, but idk now since there were some discrepancies. They never really clarified on who it was.

It was stated that only during Yagura's reign, the Mist village came to be known as Bloody Mist.

Yagura was shown to be kind was said to only have become evil because of him being controlled.

When Obito was young, Kakashi and Rin were attacked by the Bloody Mist, meaning Yagura was the Mizukage at the time.

Recently Madara has stated to have set up the whole event in order to trick Obito into joining him.

So that would suggest that he was in control of Yagura at the time, not Obito.

what about kisame seeing his face? i mean it makes sense since madara said he had rin abducted but it sounds odd for obito to not know about yagura. kisame recognized him tho. :/ unless?... theres a second madara!!!! lol. a wood clone maybe?

Well Kisame called him Madara. He didn't know who Obito was.

Two things are wrong with that though.

- Kisame recognized obito as the mizukage, obito's face is hardly forgettable with one right eye & the scars on his face.

- Madara's genjutsu would have been deactivated upon his death, no known genjutsu stays active afterwards except for izanami but that's an exception.

Also the hair not only resembled obito's at the time but it's black, old madara has white hair. The only thing that would explain the "bloody mist" discrepancy is if madara once had control over yagura, but later passed control over to obito. This could also be related to how obito can control kurama with genjutsu as well.

That could be true

but then that would still suggest that Madara has the power to control a Perfect Jinchuriki.

Only he also taught Obito how to do it later as well.

obito must have been dumb tho if he didnt piece it all together if madara did really control yagura/mist at one time. my head hurts.
my guess is that when ''madara'' asked kisame to trust him and that he would make a world of truth and showwed him his face kisame understood that this was also a lie and agreed to help.

Yeah so I guess you were still right in that regard.
