When I first watched the anime I saw a peculiar coincidence and wanted to make a thread for a long time.
At the very first chapter we see a woman crying for her son while the only thing that was left from her son was one of his arms:
Now at first this does not seem as something important but when I saw Eren some chapters later losing his arm to one of the titans before he transformed, got me wondering: do these events connect to any possible way? I just find it rather strange to think that from all the body parts that that man could lose in the first chapter,he lost the exact same Eren first lost before his transformation.
